La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fargo-Medical Center

This was a trip for a family funeral. It served our needs well. I had stayed there 4 years ago. It doesn’t seem like it has been kept up very well - definitely sighs of aging. There was an advertised “dinner” in the lobby in the early evening; it was chicken nuggets, iceberg lettuce with dressing, and potato chips. I think a “happy hour” with things like chips/salsa, cheese/crackers, veggies/dip might be more appealing. The breakfast was better than expected - the best we’ve seen since our limited travels the past pandemic years. Wasn’t fancy, but it was ok. Front desk staff was very helpful. A serviceable hotel, at a reasonable cost.

The front desk staff was working very hard. It appeared they were short staffed as it was a busy check in but only one staff at 5:00pm. The woman working was polite and efficient. The room was clean but could use some touch up painting and some new grout in the shower. The linens were clean, the bed was comfortable. There was no dry towels in the pool, only a huge bin of wet/dirty towels. Also the pool area needed general cleaning as empty water bottles and some garbage were on the unoccupied tables. I went to front desk for towels. I was given the 4 towels I needed but again the front desk staff appeared very busy checking in guests. Awhile later the front desk staff came and supplied dry towels in the pool area, she made a quick pass of picking up a few garbage items then appeared to hurry back to her front desk. The pool area could use some painting and the wire vent hangers need repairs as several are completely broken. The next morning I noticed two staff for check out. The breakfast was decent and hot items were kept stocked. All and all I saw one very dedicated staff on duty at check in, the hotel was clean but could use some maintenance updates.

The front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall great stay for the money.

We were in a 4th floor room (top floor) and there consistant banging noise like someone banging a ball on the ceiling

We used the hotel for our daughter and son-in-law and their cat to stay for our family Christmas. Everything was comfortable, everything was warm, everyone was friendly. Thank you.

We had a great stay. The pool is quite chilly, but very nice. The location is convenient and the breakfasts are great.

Nice hotel, comfortable room. Breakfast ok, not much offered for gluten free consumption, and no tea offered with caffeine. Would have been nice for breakfast.

1st room we were assigned the toilet was not working, not cleaned, tv didn't work. The second room we were assigned one hour later had no cold water to the vanity. Both rooms had the heat selection off as if they didn't know someone was going to stay there. PROBABLY won't stay there again
