My husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

Love the combination between old and modern that is displayed all around this building. Everything done with detail and good taste. Enjoyed the cleanness of the room and all the details provided to make of your stay a great experience.

Great stay! The room was like a fancy studio apartment with a beautiful window that let in natural light. The location is walking distance to the Public Market, bars, restaurants , and the theater district. We just parked our car and walked everywhere. Only let down was the breakfast selection was pretty sp****. We ended up eating elsewhere, but there is a kitchen in the room if you want to cook.

Check in with Kenneth was flawless, hotel is clean and updated, room is spacious and has a kitchenette which is great. Everything has been awesome

Loved the building, loved the room and the modern furnishings. The included breakfast was really good, with excellent seating area and nooks. Great front desk service too.

The hotel & rooms were great, perfect home base for a group of friends & family for the weekend. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. The only caution I would have is the parking. While we parked for free across the street, one of our cars got broken into. There was nothing left out in view and nothing was taken, but cleaning it up and getting back home was a huge hassle. We could tell two cars got broken into that weekend by another spot of broken glass on the ground. I'd suggest parking in a safer paid lot or closer to the middle where the cameras are, even if you have nothing to be taken.

The room we were in, although facing the highway, was absolutely stellar. Their rooms were much more comparable to a small studio condo. High clings, celling fan, original to the building wood floors. ALL the amenities you could think of are included in your room. The breakfast was your typical, hotel buffet-style, complimentary breakfast. There were PLENTY of places with a block or two to get an amazing breakfast/brunch option - pick those instead. There are two parking options on both sides of the street. The front desk staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and said the free, under highway, uncovered parking was a safe and reliable and they were correct. Checked in on a Fri afternoon, left Sunday AM and parking totaled $50. Definitely reasonable for a downtown location and my car was perfectly safe.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Third Ward area and within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants. It's a great area of the city. The reason we didn't enjoy our stay at this hotel is that when we arrived, the toilet had not been cleaned. For the price of the room, I totally expect the bathroom to be clean. We spoke to the manager who asked if we wanted her to clean it herself as no one else was on staff. We agreed and left the hotel, returning a short time later. It was never cleaned and there was no follow-up. The entire visit felt uncomfortable after that. We would not return to this hotel as there are better options for the price.
