This place is an excellent place to stay in Hakuba. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The convenient location made it easy to get to both Happo One and Goryu ski resorts. Highly recommend this place for your stay and look forward to going back in the future.

Stayed at Skala for 5 nights over the Christmas period and I highly recommend. The wonderful hosts cannot do enough to help you with your trip. If you are skiing it is located 20metres from the bus stop which has buses to every resort, which are 10mins away. Echoland is a short 15min walk walk to restraunts and a convenience store. Skala is located on the edge of a forrest which is beatiful when it is snowing. The Inn has a great lougne area to relax after a long day skiing, which includes a massage chair and small bar. I would definately go back.

A great location, our skiing trip with friends and family was complimented by a large lounge room. ＜10 minute walk from echolands main street. The owners are lovely and always willing to help. p.s. nothing feels better after a long day in the snow then an onsen bath.

We had a great time at Skala Inn. The installations are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was also nice. The highlight was really the staff: very helpful and friendly! Highly recommended place to stay during a ski trip to Hakuba!

We stayed for four nights to explore Hakuba and surrounding ski resorts. The owners were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, from picking us up from the station, helping to arrange ski rental to personally driving us to a nearby onsen. Breakfast was delicious and different every day, with home made bread and homely service. This was one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you and we will visit again soon hopefully!
