You can’t find a more spectacular location to stay. Our bungalow was number 505 and was on the beach front literally a stones throw to the water edge. The sand is white and water clear just as you see in the photos. Things to bear in mind. Cleanliness was not as good as expected. Under and around our bungalow there were things left behind by previous guests a lot of rubbish, slippers, towels which had been forgotten. The bathroom and shower was outdated and felt old and we didn’t dare use the outside shower as that whole area looked dirty and stained from the wildlife. I had to ask the cleaner one day for a cloth to clean the table outside on the balcony as it was stained from beverages used by guests before us. The breakfast area really was quite gross. I didn’t feel like i was eating in a clean atmosphere. Really basic things like the table cloth on the breakfast bar were stained and tatty. The bar being quite open to the outside had stains from the fauna which seemed to flow in and out at their leisure. Staff were attentive however you never saw anyone cleaning when they weren’t doing anything. Its a pity as it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant. We did encounter some problems with the verandah door not opening and it was resolved immediately. The hotel took full charge of collecting us from our previous hotel in phuket taking us to the ferry port and the boat trip to the island for 1500 baht per person also the trip from the resort by boat to the next hotel in Krabi also for 1700 baht per person. This service is a real benefit because otherwise you have to take several boats and taxis and avoid all the hassle! Also another thing which was fabulous and my highlight of my entire trip to Thailand was the private long boat tour to ko phi phi leh. Not for the visit to Maya beach (however it was included) but for the swimming in the lagoon and snorkeling experience. That was worth every baht! You pay for the boat up to 4 ppl and its 2080 baht for 4 hours. Highly recommended!

I recently had a 7 night stay at the resort with my family (5th April-12th April) which I had booked a Beachfront bungalow and 2 Superior bungalow. I visit Phi Phi 1-2 times a year and I visit with my family every time. I have a big Thai family and this time I thought I’d invite 2 more family members along with us. On arrival we were asked to pay 1500THB per extra person, per day which I was very happy to do so. But when we asked for extra bed/bedding or a cot we were refused! Saying the king size bed was big enough for 3 people, this response was a shocked me. I couldn’t believe I was told we had to have 3 people to a bed. I mean if you are charged for extra people surely we would receive bedding? (We have received bedding in other resorts). Your reception staff were very blunt and quiet frankly rude seeing as we were to pay an additional of 21000THB for nothing? With the extra cost I decided to see if any other rooms were available to book. We were offered a Garden view bungalow. Now to come to the rooms themselves; The 2 Superior Bungalow air con was not getting cold and after requesting we received fans to help, but with the Garden view we never received a fan for the whole duration of the stay and we did request one multiple times. The Beachfront Bungalow was full of flies on the first day/night and the door was shut promptly entering/exiting the bungalow. The air con on last night froze over and was dripping on my 4 year old son overnight, he woke up saturated! We also encountered multiple geckos and I understand they are very common in Thailand but I have never seen on in all resorts I have stayed in on Phi Phi! In a honest review of the rooms, it had seemed we were offered rooms that have been dormant for some time. The smell of mould in the air, the smell of rust coming through the taps, the dust balls which would appear once the aircon was turned on, dirty sink areas, stained toilets, dirty bed sheets. I could go on but I’m sure you know what you are supply to your customers. We also see a cockroach in one of the superior bungalow. We also visited the sunset bar one evening to experience the views. As my brother was walking to the bar he’s foot had falling through the floor. At the time we had laughed about this as we had a great relationship with one of your bar staff but on reflection this could’ve been seriously dangerous, if this was one of my older family members they might of not caught balance causing severe injuries. In my 10+ visits to Phi Phi this has to have been my least memorable experience.
