It was a wonderful experience. The property was beautiful, had amazing views and was so relaxing. It was perfect for day tripping to the surrounding Hilltop towns. Everyone was nice and helpful. The booking and checkin/checkout process was very easy. The cooking class was fun and the dinners were some of the best we had the entire trip in Italy. It was fun meeting other guests and discoverying where in the world they were from. The Truffle Hunt and tour of the Olive Oil Press were extras that helped make our trip memorable. We would highly recommend this property and staff.

We had a wonderful family stay at Renello and are already planning a return trip. The location is great for exploring and dining at the nearby historic towns ( though if you prefer not to drive the agriturismo’s own restaurant is first class and we had dinner there several nights). Our cottage was very nicely fitted out and extremely comfortable and a bonus to park our car right outside our accommodation. The staff couldn’t have been any more pleasant or helpful. We had great fun at the truffle hunting and the barbecue night. And of course those views!

We stayed in the Vitalba villa with our two boys, ages 10 and 12. There was plenty of room for the four of us, although one of the bathrooms was a little tight. Everything was clean and comfortable. It's a traditional Tuscan villa on a farm estate so don't expect fancy. The views are breathtaking, located on a sizeable olive grove. Quaint cities are a 15 minute drive. It is family run and the owner and staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Our kids had a fantastic time in the pool! We had the BBQ dinner our first night, which was family style Florentine steak, ribs and sausage and it was delicious! They also helped us coordinate a wine tour and truffle hunting. Both recommendations were awesome. Unfortunately some of the other experiences are only offered during the week and we stayed mainly over the weekend so I can't provide anything on those. It was a great time and we would recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy this beautiful area in a tranquil setting with the nicest family of owners.

We had a lovely week here. Lots to do in the vicinity and the pool was very welcome on our return each time. While it may look like I’ve got a long list of things to improve, these are just the things that would push this to a 5/5. We enjoyed our stay here a lot and would recommend it to others. Highlights - Vitalba cottage was perfect for a family of up to 4. Air con worked flawlessly which was a blessing in the heat of the day and overnight. - Staff were attentive and friendly - Views are spectacular Improvements - Pool area. While we enjoyed our time by the pool, the pool itself is dated and showing its age and needs refurbishing. Sun-beds were uncomfortable and the whole pool area lacked shade, which was a problem on some days when lots of guests were using the area. Some serious investment is needed to bring this lovely space back up to what it should be. Also, there was a lot of wasps by the pool. Several people were stung. There was a nest nearby that really needed to be removed for guest safety. I appreciate this is not an easy task and not one that can be done overnight. In general it was nice to see so many bugs around, it’s a sign that the ecosystem is thriving. - Meals. We had several meals at the restaurant. While they were always tasty and lovingly prepared, some days we left hungry. I would also say that at €40pp the meals here don’t represent great value for money. For the same price, there were some gourmet restaurants nearby that delivered a more impressive experience. - Weekly BBQ. We were really looking forward to this but in the end were slightly disappointed. You can’t fault the setting and the views and it was lovely to get to know some of the other guests but some things need improvement. First and foremost, there just wasn’t enough food. They served some tasty side dishes and salads but by the time they had been shared between the 30 odd guests it was just a few mouthfuls each. The meat was also tasty but I ended up having 1 sausage, 2 small pork ribs and 3 small slices of steak. We also asked several times for some meat to be cooked well done for our young son, this never arrived. Pudding was just a small bowl of fruit salad, which we all assumed was just a tasty palate cleanser before the desert. Also, there was a group dining with us who were clearly guests of the owner and were getting preferential treatment which didn’t give us the feeling of being very welcome. - Activities. We were hoping to take part in the cooking class but once we saw how it was planned we decided against it. The class was €25 each and was planned as a pasta making activity. This was at 1100 but then didn’t include lunch, you then had to pay another €40 to eat the pasta you just made in the evening. This is a real missed opportunity, it would have been so nice to spend an hour or two learning to make some interesting local dishes before sitting down with the other guests for a tasty lunch. We got married at the Agriturismo Renello in June 2024 and we could not have been happier with our choice. Andrea from the Agriturismo was lovely in helping us with all organisation and preparation. We had a Welcome BBQ, the wedding day and a Brunch and the food was incredible and absolutely delicious. The view and the pool of the Agriturismo are the best and all our guests loved it.
