It takes just 7 minutes walk from Shinyamaguchi Shinkansen exit, there is a restaurant and common bathroom.Nothing special but for just one night stay, there is no problem. There is nothing to see at Shinyamaguchi, so it is better to go to Yamaguchi by train(27minutes) to see famous Rurikouji Temple 5 storied pagoda(now covered by big container for the renovation of roofs though) and other spots.
