ザ アバラー ホテル(The Aberlour Hotel)

The location of the hotel is great as it was located at the middle of the town so you can travel to any Whisky Distillery within 15 minutes. The hotel is a bit old which was expected but the room was fine and comfy. The food that served by the hotel was great and price reasonable. Overall a fine stay if you are planning for a Whisky Tour at the Speyside!

Stayed here overnight. Place was very clean and staff were amazing. Annie was very helpful with where to visit during our time. She recommended we could visit macmurray in elgin, which covers different types of music. Would recommend staying at this hotel again. Food and drink amazing x

Had a great meal lovely food. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Emma was very helpful. Haggis bon bons and hunters chicken were amazing

Stopped here whilst cycling Spey Way Very comfortable room Staff really helpful - even sorted out safe indoor storage for my bike Ate in the restaurant in the evening. Food good and reasonably priced Hotel seem popular with walkers cyclists and whiskey tourists

Stopped enroute home to support local business . Empty Resturant but punted through to public bar . Eventually ordered . Both meals not pleasant . Burger half hot half cold .scampi bland chips for both meals ?? Fresh . Dogs wandering looking for scraps . Very disappointed wouldn’t recommend or return

I was looking forward to having lunch here as my partner had recommended it, he had the steak which was really good however I ordered the Cajun chicken linguine it looked good however as I started to eat it I noticed it was drenched in oil you can see it in the photo I couldn’t even taste the sauce all I could taste was oil. Bearing in mind I had barely touched it and it was priced at £17, I had mentioned this to the waitress she was kind and apologetic. When I went up to ask for some sort of discount as I wasn’t happy paying full price for this they said the could just take off the 2 cokes we had which would’ve been fine however I still had to pay full price for a dish that wasn’t worth how much it is.

Week in Aberlour and two visits for Cullen Skink with all the extras. Also had a number of other dishes to.accompany. centrally located in Aberlour and, as such, easy to walk to or park near. Would have gone more often if we had time. Thoroughly recommend.

Dropped in past on route home from Kiltarilty. Had a great lunch with the family, they chose breaded/battered haddock, burger and mac n cheese. The hotelier recommended a whisky after lunch, their own gordon and mcphail. Light pineapple sweet, smooth to the end…I like a sherried whisky but this is something id run to!

The staff was attentive and accommodating. Glad we were able to enjoy the billiards and juke box in the back garage area. Food was excellent.
