ザ カーディガン ベイ ゲスト ハウス(The Cardigan Bay Guest House)

This hotel has a brilliant location with an amazing sea view from the front bay window room that we stayed in. Our room had tea making facilities and was very clean and cosy with central heating. The members of staff were very helpful. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel before we checked in and also after we had checked out whilst we had our last few hours around the town. Would definitely stay again.

Arrived early and we knew check-in wasn't until 3pm. We asked if we could leave our case at reception which was no problem at all. Quite pleasant on arrival, little café on site, we didn't use but had seating indoors and outside. Reception phoned me at 1pm to let us know our room was ready which was nice. Made our way back and checked in. Pleasant welcome, out case had been taken to our room for us on 3rd floor, so that was helpful. We booked a seaview room, didn't expect luxury but was comfortable, presented nicely with towels and complimentary toiletries on the bed and tea/coffee was well stocked. Great to have an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Ok checkout the next day, which was at a reasonable time of 11am, the reception happily held on to our suitcase whilst we went for breakfast and a walk. All in all, a good guest house, reasonably priced and location great. Would recommend the cliff top railway, nice bar at the top with crazy golf and views are amazing. Also a walk to the harbour on South beach, nice bar to sit at. Plenty of places to eat and drink on town with cocktail bars. Will definitely be returning at some point for a night away.

Popped into this cafe attached to the guest house late afternoon on a blustery March afternoon. Lovely little cafe that is open till late. Pot of tea for two only £3! Lovely tea and the cakes looked good too. A good spot if you want a cafe open late with a good choice of cakes and drinks at a reasonable price.

A slightly confusing establishment as it has merged in with Celtic Bay and is a mixture of a guest house and a self catering building with a communal kitchen area. It is actually no bad thing as long as you are aware of the nature of the hotel. It is right on the promenade thus a number of the rooms have sea views although they could be better maintained but are none the less value for money. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, what a pleasant way to relax for a few days watching the sunset whist using the tea and coffee facilities.

Very convenient right on the seafront, and can walk into town about 2 mins away, nice comfy room beds comfy tv, tea and coffee facilities couldnt fault it.

Fab views, comfy bed, great location. no shelves to put all our clothes only a couple of drawers.

First class accommodation, amazing value for money, spotlessly clean, very hardworking and friendly staff. Breakfast was exceptional. Highly recommend the Golden Fleece

Spent a weekend here in June for a student reunion. Situated on the seafront it was in an excellent location and the accommodation was clean and comfortable, though requiring a lick of paint in a few places! Room fine for one person and the en suite WC and washing facilities were very useful; also two showers were available if needed. No breakfast provided, but these were available at Gwesti Cymru, which is less than 5 minutes walk away and were excellent. Plenty of tea and coffee provided and the self catering facilities were very useful, but I would have preferred a wider range of food and drink in the cafe. Staff were very friendly and obliging, and the 11am checkout time works well for guests who like to spend some time shopping or walking along the seafront before departing. Fine for a weekend break.

This is a charming guesthouse right on the seafront with gorgeous view of the sea. The room was comfortable and clean and has a really nice seating area at the window, good to drink a coffee and watch sunrise. The receptionist lady is lovely and so helpful, and the coffee in the cafe is excellent. The lounge and kitchen are a bonus.
