The hotel is beautiful and has a privileged view and location, unfortunately the hotel is a little bit run down, service is good as the staff is very friendly but it feels like they are missing more staff and sometimes things take to long to arrive. The only real issue I had was the food, the quality was terrible and taste was subpar. I had to return a ceviche trio because the fish was completely off, dry and smelly. On my last day I had the sopes with cecina and immediately had an upset stomach. Dinner at the star restaurant was far below my expectations also for a “renowned chef menu”

Fantastic resort. Fantastic room, amenities, food, service and location. I have traveled the world for 40 years, and there is nothing better that i havr experienced than my stay at El Encanto.

Excellent experience but the service was slow.

My recent stay at Encanto Hotel in acapulco following the aftermath of Otis left me with mixed feelings. The property has impressively restored the hotel, but certain aspects of my experience gave me pause. The restoration efforts undertaken by the property post-Otis cannot be overlooked. The hotel has done a commendable job in bringing the property back to its former glory, which is truly praiseworthy. However, I was disappointed by the prevalence of hidden fees, particularly the daily service charges that were not explicitly communicated upfront. I paid more in service charges and tips than the costo of food and beverage. Additionally, the lack of complimentary in-room coffee in the mornings was somewhat surprising and felt like an inconvenience. Moreover, the inconsistency in service was evident during my visit. On multiple occasions, I found myself having to actively seek out waitstaff at the pool area, which detracted from the overall relaxation and enjoyment of the facilities. Attention to detail seemed lacking in some areas, and I believe this is an aspect that could be improved upon. While the hotel's restoration efforts are commendable, the issues of hidden fees, service inconsistencies, and attention to detail detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable stay. I hope that these areas can be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience in the future." Overall Rating: 3/5 ⭐️

The service is friendly but really slow

Un lugar espectacular para relajarte, descansar y disfrutar de una vista espectacular de la Bahía de Acapulco

La zona de la alberca y restaurantes son excepcionales, la comida muy buena y la selección de cava lo es igual. De día la música es tranquila, adhoc a lo que buscas en un hotel con un ambiente relajado, sin embargo, de noche es una playlist que incluye algunas canciones antisonantes (no apto para niños cuando es el caso) y el volumen de esta muy alto, tanto que incomodaba aún con las ventanas de la aterrada cerradas. Las habitaciones son sencillas, creo que abusan de lo minimalista haciéndolas un poco incómodas en cuanto a necesidades del huésped. El servicio de concierge bastante deficiente, mejor que no lo ofrezcan; la señorita Wendy, me dejó sin reservaciones para dos restaurantes por que leyó o entendió mal los mensajes enviados… enviaron mi room service a otra habitación por error, demorando mas de una hora para una hamburguesa y mismo caso con una cubeta con hielos… El personal del valet muy atentos El personal de restaurante y alberca, siempre con buena disposición, pero había pocos meseros para los huéspedes que habían, haciendo el servicio un poco lento. No estoy muy seguro si regresaría al hotel, buscaría otra opción e intentar en otra cadena del mismo nivel.

El hotel y sus vistas son increíbles! Sin embargo nos tocaron sábanas sucias y rotas.
