"Lovely hotel for anyone seeking relaxation and quietness. The pool was 31 degrees and big enough. The garden was beautiful. Full board was mostly ok; good quality but lacked taste. The hotel did not have AC or any kind of ventilation, and that was a nightmare because it was hot. Fortunately the surroundings were so quiet that the window could stay open at nights. If the hotel had an AC, better mattresses and finer linen, it would have been absolutely perfect hotel."

"We had the most wonderful winter vacation at this family-run hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough. From my initial call to ask about the hotel, its amenities, and the kids’ skiing lessons, I felt truly welcomed and well cared for. The heart of this place is the manager and owner, Carina. You can truly sense that the person who owns the hotel is also the one managing it every day. It honestly seemed like she never sleeps, always present, kind-hearted, approachable, and ready to help with a warm smile and a kind word. She handles everything — greeting guests, offering tips, checking in during dinner, and ensuring every detail is perfect. Her dedication, warmth, and good-heartedness fostered an atmosphere where we felt like more than just guests; my daughter and I felt at home. The staff clearly lead by example. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. From the front desk to the restaurant, service was fast, thoughtful, and personalized. We always felt that people truly cared about our stay. The rooms were cozy, comfortable, and spotlessly clean — just what you want after a full day on the slopes. One can see and feel that cleanliness and maintenance are taken very seriously. The food was exceptional. From breakfast to dinner, everything was fresh, varied, and delicious. You could really taste the quality and the care put into each dish. Their Kaiserschmarrn was incredibly good! The hotel's location is a dream for skiers. The gondola station is so close that it’s basically ski-in/ski-out, making it very easy to get to and from the mountain incredibly easy. On top of that, Carina gave us excellent advice about the kids’ ski school, which really helped me organize my daughter's lessons with ease. My daughter and I enjoyed this first stay so much that we’ve already decided to return with the whole family. It’s rare to find a place where the owner is also the manager, so present, caring, and involved, combined with such a perfect location, excellent food, and friendly people. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back. Highly and wholeheartedly recommended, especially for any family with kids and pets—you will love it."

Everything was perfectly new and clean, delicious food, perfect breakfasts, very nice staff, outstanding playroom for kids! It's just few minutes of a nice walk from Achensee lake.
