H10 コスタ アデヘ パレス(H10 Costa Adeje Palace)

Stayed in half board plan in a Privlege room in this hotel from 2nd Feb until 9th Feb with my husband. When we arrived we checked in at a separate area and were served a glass of cava and shown the privilege lounge where there was a self-service bar with all branded spirits, beers, soft drinks, water and a coffee machine. This was open until midnight. This is a great 4-star hotel. I would advise anyone to book a Privilege room as this means you can book breakfast and dinner in the Las tosca restaurant with table service. Good choice for breakfast and dinner and the food was excellent. We also tried the buffet restaurant which was OK standard food nothing amazing but acceptable. Also privilege means you have an adults only pool area with plenty of choice of beds etc and a very friendly waiter who is constantly bringing drinks and snacks to everyone plus its possible to go to the bar and get whatever drink you want. The whole hotel area is really nice with a great area for families too. There was entertainment every night plus entertainment in the piano bar. I would recommend this hotel as a 4 star hotel but feel the staff upgrade the hotel to 5 stars.

This hotel has lots going for it. It's grand, spacious and has lots of sun beds and loads of room around the pool. It certainly looks the business. But dig a little deeper and all is not as it seems. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, not even a kettle. The Aircon is virtually useless meaning a big loud ceiling fan is needed. There's also a dress code for dinner, so beware of that. If you don't have a shirt and long trousers with you, and you've booked half board, you won't be able to have your full money's worth. The staff range from brilliant to awful. I suppose it depends who you get. Particularly at the pool bar, it was very hit and miss. We asked for drinks three times from one particular waiter and we're still waiting on those drinks. He even returned to our table and we asked again. No apology, and still no drinks. We were also left waiting an awful long time for a food order at lunch time. And again, no apology. The WiFi too is intermittent and running a test it came back SLOW. Also, in April, the outdoor pools are freezing cold. I'd expect a heated pool in a prestige hotel. Also extras like safe keys etc hold an additional charge. And late check out is ridiculously expensive- £56 for three hours then £15 an hour. Ouch. I'm being picky but for the price you pay for this hotel this stuff should be standard. As a frequent visitor to Adeje I'm sad to say I wouldn't return to this hotel, as there are better value for money ones closer to the main amenities at Fanabe Beach.

Our room was nice and spacious with a good view of pools and sea. Room 531. Breakfast was lovely, staff great, sunbeds at pool area, near infinity pool, very relaxing. Listened to waves all day. The hotel is immaculate. 10 min stroll to La caleta with nice restaurants and bars. Thanks to all the staff that helped make our holiday enjoyable.

Short break over Easter holidays. Half board. Check in was excellent at the Privilege desk. Very informative and welcoming. We ate in La Tosca - A La Carte - restaurant for breakfast and a few dinners. Food was exceptional as was the service. The main restaurant’s food was not great! It was extremely hectic! Lunch on our last day in the snack bar wasn’t great either- 2 sandwiches-1 water and a small beer -£20. Our room was in the privilege area on the 5th floor. We had a side sea view. Very comfortable bed and generally clean. The bathroom really needs an update. We had to report a few issues, these were resolved very quickly. Privilege pool area was great- heated pool and sunbeds available. Free bar and snacks added bonus! Great location in costa Adeje. We would definitely return- hopefully Monica on the main reception would be able to smile next time!!! Very rude!!! Every other member of staff was very friendly and polite. Upgrade to privilege is definitely worth the extra.

Hotel and location. It's a beautiful hotel right next to the sea. You can access the beach directly from the hotel, which I did every morning to meditate. It's a very short walk to the main sea front of Costa Adeje, only about 10 minutes. The staff are amazing and friendly. Privldge service. The reason we booked this hotel was for the Privledge service that came at an extra cost. We were expecting the Privledge sections of the hotel to be adults only, but children and babies were allowed in them. So there was sometimes quite a bit of noise from crying babies. There wasn't always someone on the Privledge reception, so you had to wait in the queues at the normal reception. We booked a double room with Privledge service. This means that we could use the Privledge lounge in reception. We stayed in the H10 Gran Tinerffe a few months ago, so we knew what to expect about the Privledge lounge in relation to the snacks. The only choices were nuts, cookies, and crisps. They may have had more options that came at different times, but we didn't see any the times we used it. Other hotels we have stayed at had a wide selection of including sandwiches, fruit, and desserts. Privledge Rooms. When the rooms are advertised as a side sea view, that's exactly what you get, and the views of the sea are amazing. The rooms are very spacious with a nice sized balcony. Pool area. The pool areas are great. There is a Privledge area where you can go that has a bar with free drinks. We were a little disappointed that the Privledge roof bar wasn't open. El Jable Restaurant. The restaurant had a surprisingly good selection of food, considering we are vegetarian, but I would have liked more vegetarian main dishes. It was extremely busy in the restaurant so be prepared to queue. Strangley, I could wear shorts for breakfast but not for evening dinner. The first night, I had to go back up and put some trousers on. Luckily, I had brought a pair. There were quite a few women waiting in the restaurant reception for their male partners to return to their rooms to put on a pair of trousers. I also spoke to some people who didn't have trousers so they had to buy a pair. Top tip. Bring some trousers. The females were allowed to wear shorts on the evening, but not the men. Why? This needs to be advertised clearly on the website. La Tosca Restuarant. We used this on the last night. Well.. The music in the background was spot on. Baby Shark and I am the Music Man by Black Lace. Lol. The staff were brilliant and lovely but struggled to understand our orders. A good way of describing this restaurant is a 4 star Faulty Towers. We had the tomatoes as a starter. After googling why they tasted fizzy, they were actually fermeting. I got the vegetarian burger and left most of it, which is something I don't normally do. Travelled with my wife and 2 year old. The hotel was great all round. Half Board. Our room was large and open - standard pool view room. Very good size bathroom. Pool area was great for kids and adults alike. Splash area for kids kept our little man busy. Plenty of sun loungers so no need to rush to throw down a towel. Bar area to easily grab a drink or a bite to eat during the day and could put these items on to the room to save carrying cash/card round. Breakfast/dinner - always a wide variety. My wife is a fussy veggie but was always satisfied with the spread. Plenty of meat and fish freshly cooked by the chefs. Staff in the dining room were fantastic. Always made a great effort to interact with our son - made him smile and laugh all the time. High chairs always available. Staff as a whole were fantastic, always very accommodating and wanted to positively engage with us and we always smiled and laughed with them. The site team were constantly patrolling around to keep the hotel clean. Litter was never left around and bins were always emptied throughout the day. Our son loved the mini disco in the evening, he loved to dance with the staff and Daisy. Every evening had an entertainment act on which always finished by 11pm - great for the if you have young children. I read reviews that made me a little apprehensive but I think they just wanted something to complain about. Cockroaches - we saw one by the pool but it didn’t try to eat us so we had nothing to moan about. Food - always a wide variety and was very good! Would we return? Absolutely

We have stayed at many of the 4 and 5 star hotels in the Adeje area. Would not stay at this hotel again. No welcome drink at reception, food not to a good standard, and cleaning to all areas needs to be addressed. I have photographs, but not prepared to share them.Some staff had attitude, complaining they were busy, others very polite and helpful.

The hotel is in a lovely setting and has many positives. The no rushing for sunloungers, the pool area is clean and spacious, with great views to sea and you exit directly onto the front. Therefore we did really enjoy this holiday especially the location. I agree with other reviews about the ******* and areas for improvement. 4 star hotel and you must hire a kettle, pay for the safe and pay 1 euro to hire table tennis bats or exchange towels if you want. Could relax round the pool but in the rooms was a different matter . I have small children and I emailed the hotel beforehand to ask specifically for a quiet room as we go to bed early. We must have been allocated the absolute noisiest room possible ! We were on the fourth floor, right next to the lift (tile floor) and right next to the inside bar with the live entertainment/ singer some nights. the outside entertainment could be heard too. Doors banging all around from above below and along the corridors and a constant vibrating / humming noise you could feel and hear. We couldn’t work out where it was from.we put the tv on loud each evening to drown it all out but then the uk channels broke! One day I tried to have a lie in. No chance. One night the festival place behind had a live banging event on and that was us getting noise from all angles ! Next door too as walls are not too thick. I did complain but they said that the main entertainment was moving outside so there would be no point and offered us a free lunch to compensate. The room itself was fine apart from the door handle falling off in our hands when we entered for the first time ! . Shower nice and plenty of room. Shampoo and conditioner and gels all good . If you coming then you don’t need to bring any. Fridge empty so we could fill up. Cleaners all ok but did find small black insects that were like little ants all over the cupboards. Entertainment quite low key during the day . Kids loved the pool tables and the kids slides . Some inflatable games put up for the kids and a few shows: a bingo one day. No football pitch / tennis etc: indoor pool. Food was hit and miss. We were half board and it was nice that you could change quite freely and also welcomed they kept the tea and coffee on at lunch . If you do like a tea or coffee like me , I bought my own bigger cup to take them away or drink in the room as the cups are tiny . Worth bringing one. I’m a veggie. Random things are labelled veggie but this is not consistent and there is a corner with 4 veggie options at evening meal. I spent a lot of time asking staff if such a salad was veggie or had meat or fish or if the spring rolls or minestrone soup was veggie . Labelling could make things so much easier as staff rarely knew the answer. On some lunches there were no veggie options . All salads had meat or fish and both soups were meat. Another day it was great with falafel and lovely salads and soups. Drinks are quite pricey to have with your meals if you half board.

Beautiful atmosphere with the warmest staff from the moment we walked into the lobby. The rooms were clean and spacious and the amenities were perfect for our family [children aged 10, 16, and 18]. Between all of the pools, restaurants, beach access, and entertainment, there was never a dull moment. We absolutely look forward to returning.
