We stayed at the Caramel with our 18 month old son for a week in May and had the most incredible time. We didn't want to leave! The pool area is breathtaking. We felt instantly relaxed and it never felt crowded. The loungers are comfortable and the added spaces to lounge in the pool were great! Our room was so spacious and fit our needs perfectly. We loved the beautiful floor tiles and our son loved running around. The shower was great and we loved the his and hers sinks. The hotel is in a great location and you can walk out to a number of tavernas and shops should you want to. We also hired a car and visited Chania (an hour away) and Rethmynon old town (20 mins away). What really sets this stay apart was the staff. Absolutely everyone we came across made us feel like we were talking to old friends. If I could list everyone's names here I would but we would like to give a special shout out to Oggy for making us feel so at home. We will definitely be back!

What a pleasure it was to stay at the Caramel Grecotel boutique Resort. The hotel is gorgeous, very tastefully decorated with lots of areas to sit and relax in. The rooms are of a spacious standard, beautifully decorated with large verandas. The food is exceptional and the buffet breakfast amazing. The pool area is very pretty there are luxurious comfortable lounge beds in situ and there is direct access to the beach where more hotel loungers are available. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly and kind and made us so very welcome. We can’t you enough for such a wonderful stay. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone and would love to revisit at some point n the future. Lorna, Linda and Helen

We spent our family vacation here at the end of April and were very happy with our stay. Fantastic accommodation, friendly staff and very rich breakfasts and dinners delighted us and the children, Fantastic pool!!! I highly recommend it to everyone.

We had an amazing amazing week at The Caramel Grecotel. The hotel is beautiful, the food was the best we have eaten in Greece and the staff are all amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pool and spa are both excellent. A huge credit must go to the staff who were so friendly and kind and made us feel so comfortable and at home. Special thanks must go to Konstantina who made being on holiday with coeliac disease so easy and stress free and also for arranging a beautiful gluten free birthday cake for my husband. I will recommend the hotel to everyone and will definitely be visiting again!

The Caramel Grecotel is an ideal place for a romantic or family vacation. We have already come 3 times and it is always a great pleasure. the quality of the hotel is impeccable, the food, the staff, the very good a**osphere as well as the kids club are the reasons why we love this hotel. Excellent 5 star hotel that has all the little attention to detail things you look for in a luxury holiday. Great staff, food and accommodation. We had two junior suites with sea view and it was bliss pulling back the curtains each morning. Lovey it!

The resort has a magical a**osphere and a very beautiful setting, full of different flowers and plants as well as a gorgeous beach. A perfect place to relax and enjoy! But what makes this hotel so special is the pleasent team✨ I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for ensuring that my stay was delightful and comfortable! A special commendation to Mr. Alex from the a la carte restaurant. Together with his stellar team, they truly exceeded expectations. The culinary delights, from main courses to desserts and drinks, were not only of the highest quality but also tantalizingly delicious and beautifully presented. Every evening I enjoyed great food, live music, and a lovely service. My warmest appreciation goes out to the entire staff! Their kindness, efficiency, hospitality and genuine warmth contributed immensely to the overall experience! Upon our arrival at Room 203, we were immediately captivated by the expansive, sunlit space, accented by delightful blue tiles and complemented by a generous balcony. It set the stage for an unforgettable retreat. The resort paints a picturesque tapestry reminiscent of a quaint Mediterranean village. Every nook and cranny whispers an invitation - whether it's the secluded spots beckoning for relaxation or the elegant library, complete with card tables, waiting for quiet moments of leisure. The beach, a serene expanse of golden sand, is dotted with ample parasols, ensuring shade when needed. Securing sunbeds was never an issue, and the courtesy of the 30-minute "move and lose" rule was universally upheld. On the rare windy days, the sea could become a bit restless, and the rocky seabed warrants the use of water shoes. These are small quirks in an otherwise idyllic setting. At Caramel, it's evident that the heartbeat of the place is its dedicated staff. Their unwavering commi**ent to guest satisfaction shone through, from the vigilant beachside attendants to the amiable buffet team. A heartfelt nod to Soula, Constantina and Oggy - their attention to detail, genuine warmth, and consistent kindness was wonderful. Culinary delights awaited us daily. Mornings were a gourmet's dream, with a buffet breakfast range from succulent pancakes and crispy bacon to a vibrant selection of fruits, seeds, salads, and more. As dusk fell, the resort transformed. Dining on the terrace, with the pool shimmering under the lights and gentle music from live bands wafting up from below, encapsulated the essence of holiday luxury. While the allure of Caramel was compelling, we did embark on a few adventures to the old town, a brief 15-minute cab journey away. We indulged in a bit of history at the archaeological museum, enjoyed the delectable Greek biscuits from Nyktaph Bakery, and later unwound at the Kai Beach Bar. A note of caution - the water at Kai seemed a tad murky, so it might be best enjoyed from the shore. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the phenomenal team at Caramel. Thanks to you, our stay was woven with moments both sweet and enduring - a truly unparalleled escape.
