The room looks good at a first glance, but not really Greek, more “Greek style” with laminate blue floors, fake leather chairs, and plastic flowers! Bed comfortable, nice toiletries in the bathroom. TV okay, WiFi as well. But the A/C doesn’t work, only blows air but not cooling. Extra charge for pool towels. Pool only open from 11-18 and very small. Parking rather dodgy. View from room into someone’s backyard, everything rather crammed. Kitchenette small and not functional.

Just had a wonderful holiday here. Loved everything about the hotel, particularly the staff. Everyone really lovely and can't do enough for you. Shoula who works mornings at the pool bar even baked us some cake! She was exceptional. The maid is very thorough and even straightens the pegs on the washing line! I would recommend and definitely return.

I’ll tell you something, this hotel is a great find. It’s location is amazing (just far enough away from the main road that it doesn’t disturb, but easily walk to in about 2 minutes). It’s inexpensive to stay there, it’s spotlessly clean, the staff are so amazing and helpful (even sorting out the best places to visit, eat at Etc). Loved it here and the beds are so massive and comfy. The pool is a good size, with a well stocked bar and enough sunbeds to go round. Also as a bonus one of the best restaurants around is at the end of the street (Rustic Garden).

Everything was amazing. We stayed in an apartment with a sea view. We had a beautiful balcony where we could enjoy pleasant breeze from the sea. It’s just a very short walk from the beach. Also they have an amazing rooftop with breathtaking views where you can eat but also the options around are endless. There are amazing restaurants and there’s a bakery down the road. The apartment was very well decorated and made us feel like home. One of the best thing for us was that there was an elevator which is very hard to find in any other hotel in Chania. I traveled with my 90 year old father and that elevator literally saved our lives. All of the staff were very helpful and very kind. We definitely loved Seagull and I am sure we will come back again.

Seagull Hotel was far more then we expected considering the price! The rooms were amazing, bright and blue and white which felt very classic Greek, and the beds were so comfortable with modern bathrooms. When you stay at the hotel you get free sun beds for the Me Gusta beach bar and restaurant. The location is perfectly hidden around the corner from the main road, but so close the the beach and restaurants that we were able to walk everywhere. I also cannot fault the amazing staff. I believe the bar lady’s name was Effy, and she was incredible! So welcoming and friendly and made some amazing cocktails! Our receptionist lady was also so helpful with booking taxis to the airport and the chania town and was also so friendly! The pool is a perfect size with comfortable sun beds and the rooftop bar was one of a kind for the area with amazing seating areas! So peaceful and amazing views. An amazing stay and really recommend if you are staying in the area.

My family was unable to travel and I just missed the cancellation deadline, cancelling the next morning when we found out that we were not able to fly - and five days before our holiday was due to start. The Seagull charged us for the whole week in full, equivalent to 1,000 Euros. They also tried to charge me for 28 breakfasts! I have never encountered this level of ruthlessness in 30 years of travelling, a really terrible way to treat guests in these uncertain times. My booking agent tried to talk to them, but nothing.I would not recommend staying at the Seagull simply because they have such a mercenary and dismissive approach to their guests. Very sad.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are just perfect and cozy. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, market and gas station. The hotel breakfast is delicious, the lady working the breakfast was the nicest and we enjoyed the terraze set up.
