It's a lovely hotel with great pools and beach area. There are (payable) water sports at the beach. We went parasailing for 40€ for the two of us, which we thought good value. Sun loungers and cushions are supplied free but it's nice to tip the guy if he brings cushions specifically for you. 1 or 2 tdn is enough. Regarding beach towels... leave a deposit of 10 tdn per towel with reception wherein they give you a token. This is exchanged at the animation booth for a towel. You can refresh your towel every morning after 9.30am. Before final departure, leave your towel with animation staff and ask for the token back. Then cash in the token at main reception. Works well. The resort staff are really nice. Not all spoke English but that wasn't a problem as we also speak French. We generally tipped the waiting staff 1 tdn each time they brought us drinks but it's not compulsory . We tipped our room maid 5€ on the first day and she was always very pleasant with us. We'd booked a standard room but it seemed very large. The air-conditioning worked well and there was a fridge. There was also a safe in the wardrobe which was great when leaving valuables in the room. The room was very clean but looking rather tired, like it needed renovating. But the bed was comfortable and it had blackout curtains on the glass doors which was useful to keep out the morning sun. Food...As is to be expected, it's mass catering and self service. The food is varied and plentiful. If you want to experience new foods you can. If you want pizza and chips every day that's also possible (sad but possible. Lol) There are fresh omelettes or fried eggs made to order in the mornings. There's also a traditional Tunisian restaurant which is waiter service and you are allowed to book once during the holiday. I honestly wouldn't bother. The food was average and the fish main course was awful. Totally overcooked and dry. The waiter was rushing us, obviously the chef wanted to pack up for the evening and just dumped the plates in front of us, without explaining what they were. There was no choice of menu other than fish or meat main course. I suffered from a poorly tummy but I can't say it was the food for sure. My husband was fine. When out and about everywhere accepted £ and € as well as Tdn so don't get too much foreign currency as you can't take it home and the airport exchange rate wasn't great. We got a taxi into Port El Kantouai for 6 Tdn each way (approx 2€) which was great value. There are various boat trips to chose from. We went on a Catamaran trip (The Albatross) which I'd highly recommend. Overall I'd say it was a great holiday, albeit not a four star hotel in our opinion. We wouldn't go there again as there are so many places to see, but good value for money and we had fun.

We booked this holiday yhrough tui, 3 star on their website and it lived up to the 3 star lol Good points, The staff we spoke to definitely tried, we found them friendly and helpful, even if their English wasn't that great, as our french is non exsistent, they tried, reception staff were nice and the animation team put effort into getting everyone included. A few bad points, the actual hotel itself was bad, very tired with lots of work needing to be done. We found it dirty, tables in reception always needing a clean, the pools dirty in the corners and the carpet to the room was filthy when we got there and not cleaned the entire 10 days we were there, room made but not cleaned well, food was very repetitive which is to be somewhat expected from buffet, however, I've never had a problem with buffet before but I did at this resort, also, if you didn't get the food quite quickly, it was cold, many people putting their plates in the microwave to warm their food! The evening entertainment was dreadful, supposedly different nights however it was the same dancing to different music lol the animation team did work hard but maybe they need help from someone to put their shows on. To sum it all up, there's a lot of potential with this resort if time and money were spent on it, we wouldn't return here and feel the 3 stars tui give it is fair, if not a bit high.

what can i say the hotel was run down when it rained it came through the roof they did not cater for the English we lived off scrambled egg and salads that is if the eggs was hot which was not often the entertainment was bad and loud kids running riot there was no were quite to have a drink and a chat with friends if that is a 4 star hotel i would hate to go to a 2 3 star mr and mrs m

Hotel very tired and run down badly needs a refit, rained on the Wednesday and water poured in through the ceiling in the main corridor also doors in main corridor were broken, in our bedroom the patio looked out onto a rough track then brick wall, furniture broken and pillows dreadfully uncomfortable, didn't ask to change rooms as already had changed once. Food never very warm, especially the scrambled eggs always cold, although the puddings were excellent. Nowhere comfortable to sit and relax in the evening. Must say all the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. All in all a very disappointing holiday.

Another fantastic stay at this hotel. On.arrival the ladies and gents at reception immediately remembered us from our last visit and upgraded our two rooms with two apartments which was greatly appreciated. All the staff at this place remembered our family which include entertainment staff Cooky ,Rico, Ahmed ,Tito and Mario who are all great lads and really make you feel welcome .The restaurant staff Farhat,khalif and Isram are again great lads and really look after you. The pool barmen Kharim,Med, and Saber would constantly bring all my family drinks at the pool and table tennis table which was again appreciated and the lobby bar staff Med and Usama look after you too. This hotel should have more stars than it currently has any we all look forward to our next visit to see all the wonderful staff. Thanks Chris

This has been the most incredible 2 weeks, for my whole family. We travelled as a group of 10 ranging between 60 and 2. There’s lots to do, the animation team are so attentive, kind and full of energy and joy. The 2 men enjoyed a round of golf at the nearby golf course and us ladies had a morning in the Seabel spa, it was incredible, so relaxing and just beautiful. The children enjoyed the activities, the pools, the mini discos and so much more. Our waiter Sebti, thank you for everything nothing was ever to much. The beach was beautiful and just a short walk from the hotel, lots of activities (at a cost) but not expensive at all and worth every penny. I took my 6 year old parasailing and it is an experience I will cherish forever. All the staff here at the Seabel have been friendly and helpful. We will be back. Thank you for an amazing time being able to make memories with my children and family.
