ヴァッツ フェルストゥ(Vats Fjellstue)

Fantastic and old Norwegian. Loved the scenery. We had a lovely meal and a perfect breakfast. Small rooms, but very cosy and complete. It was raining terribly, but it was perfect weather for this hotel. Beautiful people running the place!

Stopped just to sleep on a trip from Stockholm to Bergen. Had a room for myself including a private bathroom for ~45 Euros, which I thought was really good value for the money. Breakfast was also included, which consisted of sandwiches, eggs, milk & ceral, with juice and coffee to drink. Perfectly fine. My only “complaint” is that my room apparently was out of wifi range, but wifi could be accessed in the common area. Would absolutely stop by again to spend the night on a budget!

This is a nice place to stay! ☺️ I can recommend this! 👍 Very nice folks that runs this place.👏 Close to nature, and outdoors activities! Easy to find. Visited in winter, but I am sure that it is just as nice in the summer!

Those who enjoy living local while travelling will feel at home in this cozy place. We was staying for four nights in a simple room but very clean including clean bed linen and towels. Robert and Astrid was very kind and helpful. Although we arrived very late in the first night, yet we could receive all the necessarily support upon our arrival, thanks a lot once again!

Cozy place to stay in. We had a difficult time finding hotel on the way to Voringfossen luckily we found this one. Great breakfast and the people are nice. Living room is ok, dinner/breakfast area is nice. A small hotel with a breakfast included is a good deal.

The staff was kind friendly and helpful, really beautiful place, wonderful location and very peaceful area. The room I stayed in was simple, nice and clean The breakfast is also very good. The distance to the mountains is short, and there are lots of options. I will definitely stay there again with my friends family.

Die Vats Fjellstue ist eine kleine, süße Herberge in der Nähe von Ål. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich, was eine schöne Abwechslung zu dem teilweise unfreundlichen Norwegern, denen wir bisher begegnet sind, ist. Man erkennt deutlich, dass die Herberge für Skifahrer ausgerichtet ist. Es fehlt einem jedoch an Nichts, wenn man dort einen kleinen Halt machen möchte. Das Frühstück beinhaltet alles, was man am Morgen braucht und abends kann man sogar dort essen. Als Vegetarier haben wir einen Veggieburger mit Ofenkartoffeln bekommen - das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker!! Das Bett war sehr weich, dennoch konnte man gut darauf schlafen. Das Zimmer war wie auf der Beschreibung und es war auch alles sauber. Man erkennt deutliche Gebrauchsspuren im Badezimmer, was aber nicht weiter schlimm ist, da alles einwandfrei funktioniert. Hunde sind hier Willkommen, müssen allerdings im Zimmer bleiben wenn man essen geht ☺️ 🐾. Insgesamt eine ganz liebevolle Berghütte mit überaus freundlichem Personal ☺️
