Just getting ready to leave after a wonderful two week stay at Monicca Collection. The staff themselves were outstanding and responsive to every need. The hotel location was the best surprise. We have not seen another hotel with such great proximity to the beach. Every day waking to a stunning view of beach and cliffs and hearing the roll of the ocean. The Monicca feels very private compared to the facilities in what is a large resort. However restaurants, bars and shopping are only steps away. We would highly recommend the Monicca Collection and are looking forward to returning. Thanks again to "Roger" and his his amazing team!!

I said I would update again at the end of my trip. Here is the second half and end to my review of the muthu clube praia de oura. Originally I was booked in to staying in the luxury block (I wouldn't recommend) it is directly opposite the night club section of the hotel complex. Loud! Finished just after 12, but being a solo mum with a toddler, it was exectly ideal. All I was looking forward to was some well deserved sleep.. And staying there for 3 nights this is not what I got. I phoned reception and requested to be moved as i was here for another 7 nights with my son and at the price paid and the fact I was with a toddler, I really did not expect to kept up from 10pm with donking music, let alone that it would literally be right outside my bedroom door. I am well past that stage of my life and rather look forward to actually sleeping when I get a chance now. I didnt move rooms for free, I requested to go to the new section of the hotel The Monica which came with a. Price increase but one I was I guess happy to make considering as I wanted better trea**ent and if that is what it took. Sign me up! 100% the correct choice and I wish I had began my journey with Muthu there. Right on the beach front, being able to hear the waves crashing and enjoying both sunrise and set each day. Perfection! The rooms lovely, decor a tad gaudy but I am a fan of all things that make the world that little bit more beautiful. Not only did the reception staff take on my request to be moved, but did also continue too look after myself and my son in the most caring way each day. Both greeted with smiles all day everyday, he was given chocolates and apples, he even got gifted the cutest muthu teddy bear. The staff at the Monica absolutely went above and beyond to make our stay here at the Muthu Clube Praia de Oura magical and relaxing. If I do plan on returning to Portugal I would stay at the Monica's.

We stayed here in August and loved it so much we returned again in October. Both times we had a wonderful stay, the hoyel was great and the staff were brilliant and very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to oir next visit

The hotel has been improved to a very high standard and sits in a beachside location hard to beat anywhere in the world. The Management have consciously decided to offer a high standard of customer care, with free drinks, biscuits and cakes throughout the day (certain hours) All the Staff were very smart, well mannered and helpful..faultless. Highly recommend

Best hotel! Staff so friendly, view of the sea was amazing! Chocolates brought to the room each night with the weather forecast for tomorrow. Was given complimentary meal on the last night. The best holiday to date! So in love! Been coming for 20 years and looking forward to next year already! Already booked, see you next year🌴💚

Amazing rooms with the most amazing view from the balcony. Staff are so friendly and go out of their way to assist where ever necessary. Roger was the best twice daily room checks and complimentary chocolates was an extra treat

From start to finish an amazing experience, Rogerio the manager went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. Room was spacious and clean. Balcony was overlooking beach, nicest accommodation I've stayed in for a while. Would and will be re-booking. Couldn't recommend enough

One of the best hotel experiences, all staff made every one of us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. Top class service, already looking up times for next year. Everything from the rooms to the food amazing

I visited Portugal for the first time, but after this experience, I'd love to come back. I travelled by myself, to meet friends, so stayed in the hotel alone. I booked my hotel and flights separately, so booked my transfer from the airport directly with the hotel; this was all very easy and the service was pretty good! They use a third party company for this, but I thought that the price was very reasonable. Belen at the front of house/reception desk was really friendly, helpful and gave me a great welcome! She made a really good first impression! As I entered the hotel, I was guided to some seats and given a welcome drink as Belen checked me in. My room was lovely, with a huge balcony! The view from my room was stunning and looked straight out onto the sea and coastline. For reference, I was on floor 6 of block E, so right at the front of the hotel. The hotel facilities were good, although I didn't get the opportunity to try many of them. There was a couple of pools, some spa options (massages etc) and a choice of places to eat. The service felt quite personal, and little touches like the sparkling wine in the evening make the stay feel more luxurious. I think the only constructive thing that I could really add, would be to have a small breakfast cafe/restaurant closer to this side of the hotel (the main facilities are only a stones throw away in the sister hotel) - not a big issue! But I found the cafe on the beach (outside of the hotel) more convenient for where my room was positioned. All in all, very good for the price I paid! Keep up the good work!
