The place is absolutely fantastic! Stayed in a very clean, well presented, 2 bedroom apartment with a pool. Great balcony views, Spa was fantastic. A must go for all golfers or non-golfers😀 - our place even came with a pool table…

We hired an apartment on the Val Do Lobo complex and this is the state of the pool, loose tiles where our child cut herself, missing filters and pool light fittings came loose. Decking falling apart with sharp nails underneath. We complained the the contact at reception wanted to send maintenance men to start drilling and replacing the decking whilst were here!! As if that’s acceptable?! Balconies of the apartment have no furniture on them so basically unusable unless you want to sit on the floor! Told they couldn’t find another apartment for us to stay in. Very, very disappointing.

Unbelievable experience, highly recommend to all. The sunshine is the finishing touches to a great holiday. We went on a family holiday and will definitely be back for more great experiences. Thank you x

Great place and golf is just unbelievable although very expensive. Worth a visit for sure.

First of all if you have not visited Vale do lobo before be mindful that the whole Vale do lobo is classed as ‘Vale do lobo resort’ so your accommodation can be anywhere in the village. We stayed at 674C which was on the roundabout far away from the beach…. We had booked it via an internet booking site and had no idea of the property number until we got there. The property itself was worn out but could be nice with some maintenance and repairs. However, with the location it has it will never have a great view. The main thing that was disappointing and disgusting was the large amounts of bird poo in all the outside areas. It looked like the terrace and roof top had not been cleaned for weeks if not months! In addition to the roof top hot tub didn’t have any cover on it so with all that bird poo around it didn’t feel particularly hygienic. There was also issues inside the property that a review in Tripadvisor had highlighted years ago, but clearly no one has repaired them yet. (E.g. cracked bath panel) Also there was no maid service at all during our stay- no one even collected the rubbish!! And there were no recycling options either - a big minus in my book! Some of the plates in the kitchen were cracked so it really felt like the whole place could do some serious tlc. The kitchen didn’t have kitchen towels or oven mitts either so that was utterly annoying. If you’re thinking about staying in this property with small children, it’s worth of knowing that you can take the lift down from the property without the key - so small kids can get down very quickly. Obviously if you want to take the lift upstairs you need the key, so it did feel very safe and secure that way. Another disappointing point was that there was no heated pool available for the kids anywhere during the Easter holidays so we had to go to the cold outdoor pool near the beach. Good points were that the property was very quiet and spacious, and there was a nice welcome hamper. Architecturally the main bedroom was lovely with the high ceiling. I wish the property would be looked after better then it could be perfect for golf breaks with friends. For a romantic couple’s break I would not recommend it. It is very unlikely that we would ever return here again. We travel to Algarve fairly regularly and we know that we can find better customer service and better properties elsewhere.If you’re planning to stay here do your homework first, we didn’t and left feeling very disappointed.

Noisy gardeners - Petrol leaf blowers and petroleum chain saws continuously operating. Don’t come to Vale Do Lobo for peace and tranquility. Management do nothing so don’t waste time asking them. The entire resort is devalued as a result.

Superb place 👌 golf was superb and the weather was amazing just right. Oir frineds villa is 2 mins from golf club and 5 mins from the praca which was great for dinner and the beach too. All in all a great place to stay

The staff acted like we were doing them a favour by letting us stay there. Our villa shower was leaking and there was extensive wall damage, so it had been happening a while. Leak was all the way into the kitchen so if gone unnoticed anyone could have slipped and fell. Pool tiles were falling off into the pool and we were stepping on them Had to take a shuttle anywhere we wanted to go (beach, etc) Noisy neighbour with dogs barking all the time and TV blaring outside Don't recommend.

Although this was a beautiful property it is currently next to a large construction project so lots of hammering and saws throughout the day. The resort is gigantic, there's only one shuttle van, we waited up to 15 minutes a number of times to get yo various locations. The pool service is the worst on the planet, six male servers wandering about lost. The restaurant prices are very very expensive, the FG ood mediocre however the people are nice. The resort staff were always friendly and helpful. This place is really designed for golfers, spend most of the time on the fairway and minimal time at the room. If you do decide to book here bring lots of cash and good earplugs.
