we were searching with my wife an alternative destination to visit so we chose the island of Alonissos.We have checked the accomodation choices on the island and we decided to book to this hotel for the following reasons: beach resort with the unique sandy beach on the island, the location of the room was just on the beach and not a hotel with building but a complex with quiet conditions. - the hotel provided transfer from the port on the arrival but also on the departure.Excellent service, on time and the groom help us to bring the luggage directly in the room. - Checkin was immediate and stuff helped us with all useful information about islands sightseeings - The Beach was in 20 meters distance from our Bungalow.It is true that the exterior part of the cost was not with sand but inside was so sandy and not deep. As we heard also other customers complaining about that (it is strangeful listening to complaints in this virgin landscape) reception responsible explained us that every year may changes the level of the sea water so other years is high and other not.We enjoyed the beach from the morning till the sunset. -In Breakfast didnt missed anything.Full of salty and sweet varieties.The truth is that after 10.00 was crowded and it was really noisy with all children and families so from the next days we decided to wake up a little bit earlier.The veranda of the breakfast offers a unique and breathtaking view.We still cannot forget this beautiful view. -We had also a dinner on the last day , not a gourmet or something extraordinary.Simple and traditional tasty food. -It is not a luxury hotel but it is unique because offers an accomodation in a virgin natural environment that makes you feel involved in a paradise.There are not other hotels with this character.As,during the year, we work in intense rhytm this calm offered us a real relaxation vacation and it was so regenarating. -The signal of the phone in whole island has some problems but for us was an advantage. Pricing was fine and generally on the island all services were ok Absolutely reccomended.We would enjoy it again.

We visited the hotel in August with my family. The complex is a complex of small bungalows and this gives it an independent character compared to other similat accommodations. Even in August and although the hotel was full,the environment was very quiet! We usually had breakfast around 9 morning as the majority of customers went to the closing of the buffet and it was logical that it would be a bit more noisy. The staff was very helpful and with a sincere attitude of service. The good characters of the stuff s gave us a security as we also have small children. A big advantage is the hotel beach, the only sandy and shallow beach on the island. as the managers told us due to climate change every year the water level either rises or falls but no matter what it is the beach is always sandy. We paid for a single family room 230 euros per night and I consider it a good price when in similar hotels we might have found a similar price, but with the additional charges at the beach and other services we would have paid twice .Absolutely recommended.We Will visit it again.

We have been in the hotel for 4 times, being amazed in the past by the location, however would no longer recommend it, really sorry about this. Despite the price increase, we noticed that there is limited investment by the hotel owners, there are maintenance issues in rooms and common areas. The negative surprise was the beach, though. As you can see in the photo attached, it is now much different compared to the one advertised in the hotel website, full of stones, nothing to do with the sandy beach it used to be. Unfortunately, there was no information on this by the hotel, when we made our booking. Also, the service in breakfast was below expectation - there were items running out and not being replaced 45 minutes before the buffet closing. There is a lot of room for improvement, to keep up the quality.

Visited the beach and stayed at their sunbeds. All other sunbeds at teh beach was occupied and this hotel charged a fortune for these simple sunbeds with umberella. 20 euros a set is definitely not worth it.... Even though they provided food and beverage service at the beds... Will not return to this beach or these sunbeds...

It’s the excellent place to enjoy your holidays!!! The nature around, the beach in front, the architecture of, the breakfast… Hospitality, smiles, friendly service !!!! Congratulations to all!! Very worth it!

We spent a desperately uncomfortable stay at Alonissos Beach Bungalows and Suites in August 2022. The hotel looks like it has recently undergone some redevelopment and the photos online when booking are testament to that. It became clear very quickly though that these were surface level renovations and the hotel is struggling with ageing infrastructure, inept staffing and an overall lack of attention to detail. The resort is apparently a 4 star family hotel. Buyer beware! We would struggle to give it a 2! The rooms - all rooms are not made equal at the resort. The only options available to us on booking were standard doubles with a camp bed for the 3rd person. We were not expecting a grand suite but what we got was a dark, grotty little room that wasn’t clean. Some efforts had been made to upgrade some parts of the bathroom. However the drains in both the rooms we had booked were blocked. Water and foam came up through the drain in the floor which in turn leaked in to the bedroom. The ‘hairdryer’ was a relic from the 70’s and dirty. We laughed at the fact that the loo roll was on the far wall to the loo and impossible to reach and were left confused by the positioning of the shower screen in relation to the shower head which resulted in a flooded bathroom every time it was used. The camp bed also hailed from a bygone era (See photos). The restsurant - We decided to try the restaurant for dinner on our first evening. An experience we didn't repeat. The food was terrible. Some of the staff were sweet but all seemed quite harassed and clueless. Some of our food arrived 30 minutes after the everyone else had finished. They had though gone to the trouble to provide some live music that made Sinade O’Conner sound cheerful. Breakfast - once you have walked past the nauseating sewage stench in the dining area you enter the buffet restaurant. For a country blessed with beautiful natural ingredients breakfast consists of cheap food products served on dirty plates. The facilities - the resort has so much potential that isn’t utilised. The beach is scrappy with no facilities. Broken sun loungers don’t seem to be removed and there is a dubious smell in places. Judging by the filters, the pool has clearly not been cleaned in a long time. There is a tennis court in disrepair, a barely useable table tennis table and you feel like you’ve won Olympic gold if you manage to get wifi. Access - you will need a car if you stay here. The resort is several kilometres from the old village, new town or any shops. There is no public transport. Other than offering transport to and from the port on arrival/departure the resort doesn’t provide any transport options to the outside world. Taxis are expensive (€20 each way for a taxi to the old village which is a 10 minute journey). Parking is limited, a basketball court and tennis court have been utilised as extra parking. You will know you have reached the resort when you come to the end of the potholed roa

Excellent location with a magnificent view! The staff was kind and always smiling! The breakfast was tasty with multiple choices! The room was clean! The beach is one of the best on the island! I will definitely return!

The hotel has free sun umbrellas and sunbeds on Milia Beach... Rooms are large.. clean..food at the hotel is good. The breakfast menu is rich...on top hotel has free pick-up service from the port.. The hotel is in the middle of the pine forest.. air quality birds view from rooms and restaurant is breathtaking...The team is the best hotel staff ever... You made the difference.. Thank you all. Location is prime..just on the best beach of Alonissos island..Milia Beach.. The hotel has free sun umbrellas and sunbeds on Milia Beach... Rooms are large.. clean..food at the hotel is good. The hotel is in the middle of the pine forest.. air quality birds, the view from rooms and restaurant is breathtaking... if you have walking difficulty, the hotel has golf cars, they come in a minute you need them.
