Queria agradecer pelo upgrade que tivemos, fomos para uma suite e não sabíamos . Pena que ar condicionado não estava a funcionar muito bem. Atendimento do para muito fraquinho. Fiz uma questão: como funcionava o buffet nível do jantar, não sabiam. Mas adorei tudo o resto.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff both in the hotel and in the Seadock restaurant, particularly Francisco, Jaoa and Mamam. Pedro was also very helpful at the main breakfast and bar area. Breakfast was a great buffet with everything you could wish for. The rooms were very clean although storage was limited. The room we stayed in was exceptionally quiet and the air con was powerful and quiet. Hotel is kept spotlessly clean by the cleaning staff, an army of unsung heros. We would definitely stay here again.

One of the best things about this hotel was that guests didn’t reserve sunbeds with towels, so there were always plenty available throughout the day. The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, is spotlessly clean, and is in an excellent location. I would definitely recommend it. Having stayed at other Vibe hotels, I was a little disappointed with the sunbeds here as they weren’t very comfortable. At another Vibe hotel we visited, the cushions were much thicker and more luxurious. I also feel it’s important to mention that while the rooms have a lovely large bath, the shower is positioned over it. This could make it quite difficult for elderly guests, as there are no grab rails and the bath can be slippery when getting out. My only other suggestions for improvement would be to keep the food hotter rather than just lukewarm, and to check and refill the food stations more regularly before items run out. On our first morning there was no yoghurt available, and although there was a section for fried eggs, there never seemed to be any when we went down for breakfast. And I didn’t get the idea of putting food on top of books! The hotel is in a fantastic area with plenty of lovely walks nearby, most of them fairly flat. However, the walk into town, although only around 20 minutes, does include some fairly steep sections in places.

We stayed for three nights at this excellent suite hotel. Our spacious room was on the ground floor with views towards the ocean. Breakfast was an extensive self service buffet providing something for everyone. We enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the pool watching the beautiful birds overhead. Reception staff in the main were friendly and helpful. Although we were taken aback when we asked a junior member of the reception staff for directions to a well known beach front restaurant to be told, she didn’t live in Alvor, so could not help us. Would we stay at the Pestana South Beach again, yes.

Amazing hotel with amazing sea views. 50 meters from the beach. You can choose if you want to lay by the sea or the 4 pools they have. Nearby caves, grottos right at the beach. Only a 15 min walk from restaurants by the pier. Breakfast is amazing well served. Staff was friendly no worries about that. Asked to be accommodated earlier than regular check in and no issues with that. Will definitely come back. ❤️

I have had a great experience right from the start, with the beautiful Kristina giving us tailored treatment, she made my birthday extra special. The lovely Tito and Jefferson were very attentive to us and added to our experience. The hotel was clean, great service from everyone. I would definitely come back to this hotel. We are already planning our next trip. X
