ホテル ミルライト(Hotel Millwright)

Hotel Millwright is more of the museum showing the history of the actual working wool mill that has been there for almost 100 years. All decor is very intentional and beautiful. The way they have taken the buildings and transform them into a working boutique hotel is amazing. It is truly one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

We have stayed here many times and always leave very pleased! Great stay, great place and great staff!

I just returned from a stay at a hotel in Millwright in Amana, Iowa. My experience at Hotel Millwright was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, efficient service. The room was huge and clean and comfortable with a modern vibe reflected within the woolen mill walls. It was fun to walk around the property and see a little history of the woolen mill and the Amana colonies. I had a wonderful cocktail at the little bar near the lobby. The bartender was friendly and made delicious drinks. A BRAUHAUS restaurant across the street was delightful with a good beer and Burger and a ball game on TV. I would highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Millright in Amana, Iowa.

This lovely hotel is a unique historical site. Very interesting decor from the days that it was a woolen mill. The rooms are very modern and clean.

Stayed here for a fun valentines weekend. My husband and I had a great stay. The staff was nice, breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and it was so fun to be so close to the Amana colonies. The building was historic but clean and updated at the same time. Overall it was a fantastic stay!

This hotel is beautiful, clean, and an excellent place to stay while you visit this area.

We stayed for a second time. Great experience both times. Love how they have paid tribute to the original woolen mill. Love the industrial feel of the decor. This time we arrived early for checkin and our room wasn’t ready, we didn’t expect it to be since we were early but they felt bad and gave us two vouchers for free drinks at the bar. Way above and beyond what we expected. Hotel is very clean as well.

The hotel is located inside an old woolen mill factory. It has been recently restored and renovated to create overnight and venue services. The rooms are large and airy with stylish decor and there are inviting public spaces throughout. The furnishing are upscale and serval tools and machines from the original factory are included in artistic touches throughout. The restaurant offered delicious meals at a reasonable rate. The location is within easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. Ample free onsite parking. I would definitely stay again.
