If you plan on MARGARITAVILLE,DON’T!!! DECIVING ADVERTISING, YOUR STUCK here unless leave at 7 to RETURN 6.. earlier is 100 per person. 1 pool ( other green Algee 2 inches thick) 1restaurant LIMITED options very xpensive and only open certain times .. O activities,, NO beach,,etc.LOTS of (ADDED)(HIDDEN)fees NO drinks till10!!! BUTTT STAFF IS EXPECTIONAL!!!! A++1 n resort very clean !!!! Feel sorry for em because no one here!!! N Probly never will if knew ahead of time what IM saying!!!! I’ve been to 6 Margaritavilles and this is NOT ONE!!!! Then compensated 0!!!

We had an amazing stay at Margaritaville. The grounds were immaculate, the food was delicious and the staff were all super helpful and accommodating. Special shoutout to Ken (property management) for setting us up with a snorkeling trip from Margaritaville and overall hospitality and responsiveness to all of our questions. Also Berry and Anthony at the bar and restaurant!

I have travelled all over the Caribbean and have never had the level of service received at Margaritaville Belize - the staff was unbelievable and went above and beyond for our stay. We arrived to the outpost in San Pedro and were met by Pedro who’s amazing and helpful and he arranged our boat transport to the resort. Upon arrival we were treated at the dock with warm towels and a margarita. We were shown to our room - a gorgeous quite generously sized space. The front has a shared balcony and there is a private balcony in the rear as well. One of the best rooms I’ve stayed in. But honestly I can’t say enough about the staff. Ernesto, Jose, Davis, Julia and the ladies at the bar- everyone took personal care of us. I even joked about wanting a coconut cut open with a straw and within 20 minutes they were knocking at our door handing us freshly cut coconuts filled with coconut water to drink. We did have to rent a golf cart to avoid taking the free boat back to San Pedro as it left a little early for us on the last day but that was also a fun adventure. All in all our stay was excellent and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and fun retreat in the Caribbean.

You would have higher expectations of a Jimmy Buffet Resort...this was more than disappointing. One year old resort...the room upgrade ..just steps away...from to the beach was not that. Oh by the way, checking in ...the boat shuttle runs only twice daily, there's an additional RESORT FEE of $45...for nothing..and to use the charcoal grill another $75. It's as if the resort was about to go under...we felt nickeled and dime-d to death.. The gift shop ran out of items...like cokes...and liquor... very expense by the bottle The staff tried...but seemed like no management support....things like the commode backing up, the air conditioner in bedroom not working, no furniture at all on back patio, no bathroom available for workout area and after 10 hours of no power...no back up generator...the purified water cooler not available to refill bottles. One morning they were preparing for a photo shoot of main pool area..all cushions were removed and they power-washed to early afternoon..so pool was not available. There's only one restaurant available...staff seemed under trained and not there some mornings we went to breakfast. It's 13 miles by golf cart to Ambergris Caye...and the staff cut our lock off and took our's to town...it came back and they put another lock on it...we didn't have the key..all with out our permission or the rental company"s. Do want to give a shout out regarding the massages..very profession. Room was spacious..no extra pillows or blankets..and large kitchen terribly inadequate utensils. To say the experience...was DISAPPOINTING...is an understatement. Richard J/Wil G

Was excited about this stay because my husband and I stayed at Margaritaville St Thomas and I have great experience so I was certain a time was gonna be had, but I was wrong. We got to San Pedro and found out we had to take another boat to the resort the other boat only leaves at 2pm which was fine cause check in is at 3pm so of course the resort does that so you can never get a early check in….about a 35 minute ride on the boat we finally reach the resort we check in for only one night because we were going back to Belize City the next day.. check in went smoothly was escorted to our room by a nice young man..got to the room settle down it was hardly any outlets in the room so I decided to look behind the couch to try to charge my phone saw that it was a Lizard behind the couch called the front desk to have someone come out and remove the lizard I don’t think anyone ever came. Went to the pool to relax because the beach is not really good lots of sea****, you have to go out to the boat dock and walk all the way out to see the beautiful water which is pretty clear and surprisingly shallow . My husband went to get us some towels for the pool at the front desk , he was told they were out of towels and they was waiting on getting more. My husband and I wanted some drinks, he went to the bar and was told they was out of liquor and dont know when they would be getting more…now this is a resort how can you possible be out of alcohol??? we decided to go to the back pool which was good because it wasnt a lot of people there. we hung out until 6pm because thats when the the restaurant and the bar reopened, we then went to the restaurant to get dinner…..we were given paper menus on a clip board with about maybe 6 food options because the waitress explained to us that they didnt have no fish or lobster. i ordered a shrimp dish and my husband had chicken thing, I explained to the waitress like i know Margaritaville usually has a good food choices , she then explained that they were working on a new menu. Our food came out at a timely manner I ate about three shrimps and was about to eat one of the potato wedges which everything you ordered came with potato wedges and two carrots one one broccoli, one cauliflower …when I realize it was a hair on one of my potato wedges, I pointed it to my waitress and i knew it wasnt my hair because I have braids. She apologize and said that we would not be charged for the meal and gave my husband a free drink.. which I was OK with, and we just thanked her, and we went about our business. I will never be returning to this resort I was very disappointed because as I mentioned before that I stayed at a Margaritaville at St. Thomas and it was wonderful. Its nothing else on the island to eat so we were kinda screwed. We left the next day.

Margaritaville is a beautiful resort. Our experience at Margaritaville was excellent because of the staff. Captain Mario set the stage for us as he met us at the airport in San Pedro and was gracious and made us feel like family each and every day! There were so many staff members who also made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make our stay outstanding. Jose and his brother Jhosehue were especially helpful. Our restaurant server Flor was so friendly and welcoming. Pedro checked us in and helped us understand everything about the resort. Berry the bartender does an excellent job. Our other boat captain Salvador also did an excellent job and kept us safe on every trip. Gian and Reiner helped us figure out how to handle the sand flies and we will be forever grateful. Thank you all for the memories!!

I stopped by for a drink @ 10:30 as we were staying a little further north , we went to the pool bar and the bartender said he wasn’t open yet but that the bar inside probably was . We went and found the bar inside and it also wasn’t open and the bartender that told us he wasn’t open yet was now inside and this bar wasn’t open . It was weird , through all of this there was a server that noticed us and he immediately went out of his way to take care of us , if not for him we would not have gotten a drink or felt like we should even be there . I wanted to leave this review to say thank you to him Irwin Katz , I really appreciate that he made us feel welcome and was able to grab us some belikin . The bars have weird hours . The employees we encountered seemed annoyed by business and didn’t really want to help us except for Irwin he went above and beyond to show us hospitality . Thank you

We had a fabulous time on our girls trip! The staff was very attentive! Jose and Salvador met us at the airport and carried our luggage to the boat. We were not allowed to lift a finger the entire time we were at the resort. Both were friendly and willing to help us arrange a golf cart! We also appreciated Berry, Kats, Luis, and Jiannna! They were all so accommodating and made fantastic drinks! The front desk arranged for a snorkeling adventure and also placed a beautiful birthday flower arrangement in our room! Each staff member took the time to attend to our every need and recommended great places to visit. The service here is phenomenal! I would definitely recommend coming to enjoy!

Incompetence. Came for lunch after being disappointed by our first experience. second time around we sat down and my wife sat on a wet couch cushion that had just been cleaned with bleach. Ruined her dress. Nobody on site to deal with this, not any offer to try and resolve the problem. They said Ken would call back but had a feeling he never would and we were right. Good thing it wasn't a gucci dress or something. The problem was they never closed the seat after her cloths were ruined it was left open for others after they admitted it was cleaned with bleach. All 5 meals had cold fries Been in the restaurant business for 15 years and something so simple, yet the wheels are falling off the bus there. When you are a large resort and reviews aren't even responded to is a bit of a RED flag.
