ロング ジョンズ ホテル(Long John's Pub & Hotel)

Beds were comfortable and room was super clean. There’s a pub on site that had great food for reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a convenient area that has many restaurants and stores and is about a 5 minute walk to several different tram/bus stops. It will take about 30 minutes via the intercity train to get into Amsterdam and from there you can access multiple transportation options for getting around. There is a private shower and sink in the room but a shared toilet. All were very clean. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage to your room. There is luggage storage if needed and they took great care of ours prior to check in time.

I was here only for one night, but I would have stayed longer. The room is clean and cozy, it feels like home. The toilet and shower are also clean. But unfortunately there is no elevator and a very high staircase, but this is almost everywhere the case

The hotel itself is not the most wonderful I have ever been to, rooms are small and "average", you can hear everyone waking up in the morning and taking showers, ... However, the people were super nice and helpful and they paid attention to my food intolerance which is not always the case. The place and surroundings are cute.

This is a really cool place with great pricing. Most things were walk distance from the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, including a nice view. Good food. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. 10/10 would recommend picking this place for your next stay in Amersfoort!

I don't often do reviews particularly if the experience is negative & a small business, but they requested one so here goes- This is Not a Hotel but a Hostel in reality. Firstly the positives. It was clean & the room warm, (even though half the rads didn't seem to work) & very central. Whilst they provide what is stated be aware you need to read the info in detail. There is no lift & the typically dutch stairs are very steep. You only get the bare minimum of whatever is stated. The double bed was the narrowest we have had ever. There was no wardrobe, just 4 coat hooks. There are No cups, no coffee, no tea, no glasses., no plug for the sink. There was a flat screen tv, probably the smallest we have ever seen, but there are No channels, unless you pay to stream through your own phone! To have a room with w.c was extra, to have breakfast was extra, in fact everything you really need will be extra- our fault for not reading the info in detail. Mistakenly we expected the place to actually resemble a Hotel! But conversely the night before we paid 15% more & had a great Room with a proper double bed, full en suite facilities, a decent tv & plenty of programme options, plus a full buffet breakfast included. This was a 15 min train journey away in central Utretcht at Hampton by Hilton. This alternative really is a no brainer. This place seems to be purely set up to screw tourists.

Like every time I go there, everything is perfect. It's a small hotel, with cozy rooms and a always very friendly team. I also recommend having your meal at the pub, the burgers are really very good and they have good beer on tap (triple).

We paid for a room for 3 people. My mam, my aunt and I. My mam and aunt both being in their 50’s. When we arrived we were informed they hadn’t realised the booking was for 3 and now that they saw that on the booking they’d bring an extra bed into our room. Later that night we went into the room which was really just fit for a double bed, a camp bed had been added for the 4 nights. More to our horror was that our toilet was outside in the hall for sharing with the rest of the floor. We raised our concerns with the staff who gave us an option to either pay extra for a room with a toilet or get our money back. I think this is poor for a place called a “hotel” and not a hostel. We weren’t offered any discount for our having a camp bed in a small double room with no toilet for 4 nights.

Rooms not much comfortable tv never worked very noisy you can hear people walking and talking all the time I had to leave before days confirmed when I reserved and ask for reimbursement and never replied. Crew is nice they are always at the reste and are very kind

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. The pub atmosphere also seemed very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel.
