Slightly pricey for the room size and facilities. Located in a nice part of Amersfoort.

No breakfast included for €80 euros per night!!! Breakfast starts from 08:30 am. This is way to late for business travelers. Check in not possible after 5pm.

Nice historic location, nice small place to stay with perfect location. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was cozy and clean, although deluxe means more that you have your own bathroom :) Very friendly staff, nice inner yard. It was a pitty that one could not eat any own snacks or drinks in the inner yard though, since the selection in the hotel menu is rather limited.

Lovely hotel in the old part of Amersfoort - we couldn’t believe how close we were to the centre of town! Staff were very friendly and accommodating with our requests. Our two young boys loved climbing the typically Dutch stairs to our top floor room. Room itself had plenty of space. Just be aware that there is no mini fridge in the room (just some sort of ice box) which made it a little hard since we stayed for almost a week and couldn’t go out for every meal (kids!) and they have no laundry service available. But I’d still highly recommend staying here.

Interesting historic hotel built in 1600’s, lovely garden area with drinks and nuts served. Room 103 was reasonably large with kitchenette sink and fridge. Nice large shower and bathroom in the room. Close to city medieval core with church’s, tower and numerous plazas and places to eat outdoors or indoors. Good continental breakfast served in dining room. With friendly helpful staff, Patty was particularly nice. All speak good English as you’ll find throughout most tourist places in Netherlands. Remember it’s Netherlands not Holland. Holland is a province.😉

Great friendly place. We had the room up in the roof with the wooden beams etc and a nice view over the local houses and the splendid magnolia in the back garden. Tasty breakfast. Handy for the historic town centre. Would highly recommend

So many rules! And presented in such an unfriendly manner. This hotel was chosen by our small-group cycling outfit. We were four travelers arriving just after 5 p.m. "Almost too late." Were told no breakfast the next morning because an 18-member group was being served. The "breakfast" option to which we were pointed was a SPAR convenience store around the corner. The host was the most unkind person we met in Holland. The back garden is attractive but one isn't allowed to eat there. In the morning it was a cigarette butt fest. Our two rooms were up a very steep set of stairs--not particularly a problem as we met scarier hotel stairs on the trip--but the rooms themselves were cheerless and dingy. The bathroom eaves were hazardous with chipped paint indicating previous guests' head collisions. The shower stall had two doors: one folder and one slider, awkward and a fall hazard. The dinner restaurant we chose by chance was super, the lovely staff easing the grim lashings of the Tabaksplant experience.

Everything was great except for parking. It seemed as though parking isn’t even a consideration. I had to park nearly a half mile away in an expensive parking garage. I felt like my questions about parking were received as a surprise. Am I the only person who drives across Europe?
