Location: Excellent if you don't want to stay in the narrow streets near Harmandir Sahib. You can easily get a transport (E-riksa/Taxi) from the gate. Most of the famous food hubs are not very far. Cleanliness: Strictly average. You will find used plates/bowls/glasses in the corridor till mid day. The hotel itself is pretty old and it shows its age. Rooms are clean enough. Comfort: Bed was too soft for my liking. Service: Service was good. Hotel management should give proper tools to the HK staff to clean the bathrooms/toilets. It's inhuman to get everything cleaned with just a piece of cloth. Requested for 2hr late checkout, front desk agreed for 1hr. Amenities: Nothing to talk about

Hotel is good. Rooms are spacious a bit old style interior. Staff is quite friendly and helpful. A recommendation breakfast and food was quite blank. Just book the room don't take any meals it's quite blank. Hotel needs bit renovation as it's bit old style.

Lovely ambience with spacious rooms and tasty food. The staff is cooperative as well. Location is also perfect. Not too far from the sightseeing places. Totally recommend. .......................................................

Very good stay. Excellent service. We enjoyed the stay. Special thanks to Ms Shika Madam and staff of the hotel. Food was also very good. Buffet breakfast we liked it very much Very good maintenance of the hotel. House keeping is also very good .

We enjoyed our brief stay. The Hotel appeared very well run, check in was straightforward and staff were helpful and friendly. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, however my friends did and enjoyed the food. The grounds were well maintained and I enjoyed reading the complementary newspaper in the garden.

The amazing hotel with very cordial staff, service is supper good, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.. little far from darbar sahib but that is manageable.. true value for money stay. I booked it at the last moment but happy with my decision… rooms, ambience, service all will get 5 stars from me totally satisfied. Thank you @Hotel Ritz plaza

I stayed at two hotels in Amritsar, on two preceeding days to the one I stayed at the Ritz Plaza. One was the Lal kothi at raja sansi, by ITC group! I was not too happy as I was not looking for the standardised, monotonous, closeted, too formal and stiff westernised experience. I changed one hotel every day because I was looking for an authentic Punjabi hospitality experience while offering the touch of good class, which I finally got at the Ritz Plaza, complete with the yummy Amritsari dinner and breakfast. The vast lawns full of mango trees, the framed tapestries on the walls and the original building instead of the glass and chrome laden other hotels, lend it the rich, old world Punjabi air and charm. In addition, it is situated in a very calm, stately neighborhood, in the heart of Amritsar. The staff is seasoned, kind of family, who seem to have stayed with the hotel their entire career and that gives, the real, warm, loyal, relaxed Punjabi vibe! The MD, luckily happened to be around and he personally took the feedback and got a few things set right although the entire team is very professional and extremely good. One more suggestion to the management would be to please maintain the originality of the property, which they have done successfully till now. Keep it up! All the best!! Thanks..

Feels very comfortable recommended for family friends visits , good space for parking and lawn for rest and relaxation staff is very humble especially Mr Sudeep. Good food and food rooms neat and clean near city heart .. I definitely visit again

This hotel is tucked away in a quieter area of Amritsar. A reasonable and very doable walk to the golden temple from here. The rooms were well appointed, big and very clean. The bed was super comfy, wifi worked well. I ordered room service and the food was a good price and really delicious. Staff were very helpful

The experience from start to the end was great.The front office staff was very professional (Shika and the young girl in morning shift). Rooms were cleaned every day and a special note for Piyush Kapoor who was excellent in keeping my stay as comfy as possible. Will recommend to my friends and family.

The Ritz has clothing, banks, money transfer, meat/veg food, cinema, KFC!, Massage parlours etc.. within 5 minute walk! (Beware of dogs at night), this is typical of this city, but the hotel staff were very helpful and organise transport. (The resturant was not great - just the basics)

First stay at Ritz Plaza. Wonderful hotel, one of the few still with old world charm. Situated on Mall Road, Great location, amenities, breakfast in the Foyer, was special. Our stay was absolutely perfect, the rooms fabulous and the customer service really wonderful. Shikha was so helpful with our reservation and requests. Just a suggestion. Need some improvement in housekeeping. Our room's Tea kettle lid was broken and dirty and tea tray was not properly clean. Our check-in was smooth and fast. Kiran and a male staff at check-in time were very welcoming. They made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived until we left.

I came here with my school friends. From the moment we entered the hotel lobby, we were impressed. The interior decor was luxurious yet warm and inviting. The family room that we booked was spacious and clean with comfortable double beds and linens. The room was overlooking the ocean which had a fabulous view. There is a kettle, a small fridge and a large TV which we loved. The bathroom was nicely decorated with unique tiles. THE CONCLUSION: On the whole, we enjoyed the hospitality at RITZ PLAZA and we had a wonderful experience of staying there. Location is good, the staff is courteous, the facilities were awesome. I would definitely recommend RITZ PLAZA as it is a great place for guests to relax and enjoy themselves.

Fine for just brief one night at commencement of a small group tour.Under refurbishment in parts so breakfast very limited. Kettle.spare quilt. Clean. Steps up into to room from corridor (2nd floor) Pool looked fine but no time to use it.
