If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Seychelles, I honestly can’t recommend Au Fond De Mer enough. This trip was so much more than a holiday for us. It was an incredibly personal journey as we laid my grandad’s ashes to rest in his homeland, reconnected with family who live in Seychelles, and celebrated our heritage. Everything about this trip needed to be perfect, and thanks to the wonderful team at Au Fond De Mer, it truly was. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They were kind, genuine, humble and always smiling, making us feel more like family than guests. The apartments were spacious, spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect too – just a short walk to the beach, Anse Royale village, and with a bus stop at the bottom of the hill. We hired a car for our second week, but it’s easy to explore without one. The only thing I would mention is that, for me personally, the bed was a little firmer than I prefer. That said, mattresses are such a personal preference, and my husband slept brilliantly! What really stood out was how much the team genuinely cared. As soon as they knew I was struggling, they did everything they could to make me more comfortable, which speaks volumes about the level of service they provide. The views are simply breathtaking, the surroundings are peaceful, and the local people are some of the friendliest we’ve ever met. Seychelles has truly captured our hearts. If I could convince my husband to move there, I’d pack my bags tomorrow! Thank you to everyone at Au Fond De Mer for making such an important chapter in our lives so memorable. Your warmth, kindness and exceptional hospitality will stay with us forever. We will most definitely be back.

We had a fabulous 5-night stay at au Fond de Mer View. The apartment is spacious, well equipped, nicely decorated, fitted with comfortable beds, with the terrace and stunning sea view a true highlight. Solana has been very supportive with organising our stay, from helping with the airport pickup, arrange the car rental and provide valuable advice on the area. The nearest beach is a 2-minute walk away and shopping options just a little bit further. I stayed with my wife and three young children and we all had a great time.

I had a wonderful stay at Au Fond De Mer View and would definitely recommend it. The apartment is spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The view is absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. What I especially appreciated was how quiet and peaceful the area is, while still being convenient for getting around the island. The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful with any questions, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located apartment with a relaxing atmosphere. I would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful 8 nights stay at Au Fond de Mere. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely terrace with garden view and access to the rest of the premises which also included a terrace to have our sundowner drinks with wonderful view over the sea. Solana, the owner, greeted us in the morning with guava and avocado from the garden. She was helpful with all the information we needed and supplied us with both beach towels and snorkeling gear. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice appartement with wonderful seaview from the spacious terasse. The appertement is tastefully furnished. We prepared meals, the kitchen had all necessary equipement. As we had problems to fly back home due to the Iran conflict, Mrs. Solana has been very helpful in organizing flight tickets and gave us any support we needed. We will surely come again to "Au Fond de Mere".

I can highly recommend this superbly maintained apartment with stunning views.There's a nice bar nearby, and if you've eaten there, you can use the sun loungers for free, which I think is great.

Everything was great! The hosts were very nice and answered all our questions. The kitchen was excellently equipped. We really appreciated the option to use the day lounge—which had a toilet and shower—for a small fee after checking out on our departure day.

A very comfortable and beauty appartement on a wonderful location. The rooms are very nice, clean and have everything you need. The terrace is marvelous, you can enjoy from a stunning view and relax while dining. The host Solana, is very friendly, helpful and gave us a lot of tips over the beaches, the village and the take-aways. The beach is nearby and very good for snorkeling.

Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Au Fond De Mer, it was truly amazing and one of the best experiences we’ve had. The property is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The room has everything you need and even more. The kitchen is having all the needed utensils and everything you need in general. A special thanks to the owner, Solana, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Anything we needed was taken care of quickly and with genuine care, which made our experience even better. We were even granted an early check in at 10 am, which was very helpful after our early flight. The location is perfect, with two beautiful beaches just a short walk away, making it easy to relax and enjoy the island. Coming up to the accomodation there is a short steep hill which could be difficult for people with accessibility needs, however it was not a problem for us. There is aswell a car park provided in the accomodation and down near the beach. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. We can’t recommend it enough and would definitely love to return!
