RRichard LLVery reasonably priced apartment-hotel and the staff at reception are kind and helpful. The location is very pretty but the surrounding built-up area is a bit lifeless and I needed to order takeaway for dinner. The apartment was generally clean, though there was a lot of dust behind the bed when I moved it to get to the plug. There is a nice balcony and lots of space in the apartment. The kitchen has a kettle and some complementary tea, but there are no means to cook since the gas has been disconnected for safety reasons, and they provide no bowls, plates or cutlery, nor is there a microwave. They prove complementary breakfast but it was a sad affair and in my opinion you'd be better off going elsewhere - when I went down at 8.30 there were a few sad looking bits of corn and sweet potato, some boiled eggs, the very last bit of milk and three remaining tiny bao buns filled with red bean. Perhaps local people are satisfied but for a non-Chinese person I'd say you'll be disappointed.
HHo Min ChooThe hotel is just 1 minute walk to the most beautiful beach on the island of Dong Shan.
In the apartment, you can hear the waves and unblocked views of the sea.
Mini-mart within the apartment compound. Short drive to the famous old town and night market. Can easily book DiDi and cab.
Relaxing stay with good view from the huge balcony.
