Omg the worst resort. I’m sorry to say this place is a scam and run down. It’s expensive and 100% not worth it. It’s so unfortunate because the coastline is beautiful and the gardens could be delightful. The food is beyond awful and the room at dune looks like bad room at a youth hostel and there were ants in the room. Shame on this place for charging the prices and offering such a low budget experience .I guarantee they do not have return customers. I will include photo of how they sell you the room and what it actually looks like. The staff is very nice but I think they all hate working there and are embarrassed of how it is managed. Do yourself a favor and find another place to enjoy arbitax.

Idyllic location in Sardinia offering fantastic scenery and views. Accommodation in a sea view superior room was literally 10 metres from the waters edge.

I have just had the most fantastic 2 weeks stay at Hotel Dune in the Arbatax Park Resort. The Dune Hotel Manager personally ensures that guests have the best stay possible! She ensures she is visibly present all day long, and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are wonderfully friendly and the rooms are exceptionally clean, as are the Dune Hotel amenities. It is rustic and authentically Italian - a gem in the middle of the east Sardinia coastline. Would highly recommend - especially for a couples trip!! Thank you to all at the Hotel Dune!

A lovely park with beautiful swimming pools and a good breakfast. The seaside nature is stunning, and the care is excellent. Bar prices for soft drinks (€5) are on the high side, but the cocktails are well made and very tasty. The pizza restaurant is excellent, while the other restaurant feels overpriced for what you get. We would not recommend the spa, as there are few facilities.

Does not look like the pictures, wasps all over the place and in all restaurants, bad breakfast, hard beds, dirty pools, hills all over the hotel, bad information about everything, hard sun beds, transfer to the beach not included. Can’t recommend this place at all.

This place is incredible. I love the way it is all built around nature, I wish they would do this everywhere. Everything is stunning. I love that the pools are freshwater, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Beaches and location is just perfect. The food was good, although breakfast could have been a bit more varied. The coffee is lush 😍 As vegetarians we had enough choice, most nights. We went out once or twice as there wasn’t much choice but I enjoyed the salads and veg. The icing on the cake for me was the animals - this was one of my favourite things. If you love animals, nature and swimming - this place is simply heaven. We will be back :) And those moaning about the steps and walking … yes we could our step count in around the resort, which we loved! Don’t go if you don’t like steps 😂

No cash, and no putting tings on the room. No 4G and 5G, no mobile connection. Good internet, but not good solution for the resturants. But this is one of the Nicest place on the earth.

Reception staff - Did not greet, explain the site, location of anything and gave incorrect key for room twice. Room - Not a superior room as booked, not very clean, TV not working, outside light broken and unsafe, no waste bin, full of ants and sea view blocked by overgrown vegetation. Only 1 socket in room. Dune Restaurant - Food has reasonable selection and staff friendly, evening meals hampered by staff having their dinner in the same restaurant before the finish of guest service and resulting in foods running out early Drivers - Always on their mobile phones including whilst driving, this including bus drivers Managers - Riding around on mopeds reading text messages and taking calls Site Buses - Inconsistent Parking - A hike from the room Bars - Service was very slow, empty glasses left for hours, unable to change beer barrels, served flat beer by bar manager! No ingredients for cocktails even though they are in the menu. General Staff - Sitting round the side of restaurants smoking If you are expecting a beach then don't book here. Hotel Dune would be for couples but the small beach is full of children. The beach bar closes at 8pm and the main bar has children running around all night so no getting away from them. I would not recommend this resort. Glad we had a car to get away, everyday!

This was a very average stay. Everything takes long because you have to get a shuttle around the property as it is so big. The only nice thing about it is the rooms - those are nice. The rest of the grounds is super average and dirty in some areas. We are a couple and felt like maybe it was more suited to families. The wifi doesnt work properly around the property (only in the rooms) so it was also hard to do work around the hotel. I wouldn’t stay again and did not think it was worth the price. Some staff nice but some staff a bit rude.
