ホテル デ メッサジェリ(Hotel des Messageries)

We had a one night stay here. Parking was easy, for free and just across the street. The young lady at the reception was very friendly and speaks many languages. The room was renovated recently and was good in size, the bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) was spacious. The mattresses were very good and gave us a good sleep. It was very quiet, because we kept the windows shut at night. If you want to sleep with the window open better look for a different place as traffic noise starts early in the morning. The hotel is in the Center of Arbois, several good restaurants are within short walking distance.

A two night stay turned unexpectedly into a three night stay, due to a car breakdown. Our thanks to the manageress who dealt with our problems with charm, good humour and good advice (including pointing us in the direction of a local car hire company and helping us the book a taxi to the train station). A very comfortable, traditional little hotel. We were offered a choice of rooms on our arrival, and had air conditioning and a ceiling fan in our room, which was very welcome. Plenty of parking adjacent to the hotel, and restaurant options within easy strolling distance. Delightful place to stay.

Listed building so a little querky. No aircon but roof fan worked well, and quiet. Location 2 minute walk from town centre. Parking right beside hotel and safe. But above all the staff where extremely helpful 😀

Very welcoming and small, personal hotel. Rooms have been renovated during the last few years with a nice touch. Clean, good breakfast. Only issue was the lack of AC in each room, but the host made good efforts to cool all rooms during the day.

Very quaint but well-maintained hotel in a lovely town. The staff was very friendly and it was a great location at a great price. Would stay again.

Voilà un hôtel avec beaucoup de charme qui nous change des chaines impersonnelles: Une directrice attentionnée, un établissement rénové avec goût et un petit-déjeuner qui, sans être pantagruélique, est de grande qualité : Très bon pain, croissants excellents, confitures artisanales jusqu'à la salade d'oranges exquise. Bref, une étape comme on aimerait en voir plus souvent.

C'est un bel établissement, bien situé, malheureusement le positif s'érrête là L'accueil : clairement la personne qui nous a accueillie n'est pas faite pour ce métier, il serait bien de réfléchir à une reconversion. Nous avons eu l'impression de déranger tout au long de notre court séjour et avons même eu des remarques non fondées par mail après notre départ !!! Nous avons été accusés de pratiques dégouttantes dans les parties communes de l'hotel et après échange téléphonique, nous apprenons que, pour cette personne, nous étions les suspects (donc coupables) les plus plausibles et qu'elle n'a pas consulté sa vidéo surveillance pour identifier les auteurs des faits - Nous n'avons jamais vécu cela, c'est choquant. Le petit déjeuner : nous avons cru à une blague - 14€ pour un croissant, du pain et de la confiture !! si on veut goûter aux produits locaux, comme le jambon ou le fromage, il faut rajoutter 1,9 € !! c'est à la fois mesquin et franchement on en a pas pour son argent ! Vous l'aurez compris, notre prochain séjour dans cette ville se fera dans un autre établissement. Aux prochains clients : bonne chance - nous avons regrétté de ne pas avoir suivi les avis qui semblent de plus en plus négatifs

L'hôtel est situé au centre ville. La terrasse n'est pas utilisable en cause du plein soleil. Il faisait+30-35°. Le parking est payant de 6 euros par jour et représente une sorte d'hangar non fermé et non surveillé. L'hôtel est propre. Concernant le lit, la housse de couette et les tailles d'oreiller sont en polyester 50%: ce n'est pas confortable pour dormir. J'étais surprise par une visite de la personne de l'hôtel dans ma chambre vers 20h du soir. Je n'étais pas habillée. Pour déjeuner ou dîner, il faut réserver un restaurant à Arbois 2-3 jours d'avance. Impossible pour un court séjour.
