ポウサダ ヌエヴァ エスパーニャ(Posada Nueva Espana)

An amazing stay! The owners are so lovely and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. They let us check in early after a long night bus which we appreciated so Much. The hotel is beautiful and just a 10 mins walk from the center so it’s really quiet. Breakfast is nice and the rooms are big with plenty of hot shower. Definitely our favourite hotel in Peru!

We didn't stay here long, but felt like this was a good place to stay in Arequipa. We only stayed one night and had breakfast once since we had to get up early the day after. Owner was super friendly and spoke English well. We arrived with the night bus and breakfast would normally have already stopped, and they still provided us with a breakfast. 10-15minute walk to the city center, supermarket nearby (few minutes walking distance) so the location was good as well. We did the Colca Trek so only stayed one night, but the owner suggested to keep our luggage safe while we were away. Recommended!

Beautiful Hotel, close to the plaza de armas. Very nice, welcoming and attentionate people working there, who were flexible and helpful even given our tight schedule. Sad we did not stay longer, we absolutely recommend it!

It was an Spanish colonial house converted, the architecture and surrounding area was incredible to view. Close to amenities, laundry, restaurants, shopping and all in an old world safe environment.

The service at this posada was excellent. Staff was very attentive to my requests and spoke very good English. The price I paid was excellent, but keep in mind that this is not a place to expect a soap, shampoo, or bottled water to be at the ready. Breakfast on the terrace was very nice. The room was reasonably comfortable and quiet. It about a 10-15” walk to the sites of historic Arequipa.

Amazing stay in a lovely, family run place. Colonial style building with a very nice centre place used for taking a fabulous breakfast. Well situated in the city center, and still within a quite and relaxing quarter. Host very helpful and friendly, a joy to stay.

We had a very nice stay in this lovely hotel. It's a really authentic building with lots of space, inside and outside. Braulio helped us a lot. One of us got sick and he helped us with resceduling bus tickets, provided hot water all day long and asked multiple times if he could do something for us. They speak English perfectly, even the best we come across so far after 3 weeks in Peru. They also provided laundry service, even on Saterday and the shower is wonderful. Good beds also and the rooms are quite big. The owner even allowed us to stay in the room until 20h00 (to catch the night bus) without any additional cost. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Arequipa. Main square is a short walk of approximately 12 minutes.

The host is super friendly. He gave us a special treat in the room for our honeymoon. The place is very pretty, local. Well situated. 10min walk from central place. Everybody is very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay !
