キボコ ロッジ(Kiboko Lodge)

This place is a true oasis of peace and exceptional natural beauty. To really appreciate it and unwind completely, don’t rush and stay for at least two nights. Bear in mind that it’s not the most easily accessible of the lodges, and you’ll need your own 4WD to reach it, or arrange your pick-up with the lodge (easily done as the staff is most flexible and accommodating). This is a part of its unique appeal though, and once you are there, there are plenty of activities to engage in, or simply soak it all in at the terrace of your bungalow. Apart from the fabulous surroundings, the lodge itself is lovely, rooms very comfortable, the food tasty, and the staff amazing - courteous, sympathetic, attentive and charming team that will do their best to make your stay very enjoyable indeed.

Me and my friends loved our stay at Kiboko lodge. Frank, the manager, told us it was the most beautiful lodge in Arusha and he wasn't lying. We were overwhelmed by the gorgeous location, the impressive nature surrounding and the well-made and unique lodge itself. Even more, all of the staff were super-friendly, the dinner and breakfast were so tasty and fresh and also the communication and safari arranged by them were impecable. Dear hosts from Kiboko Lodge in Arusha, We were guests at your beautiful lodge in the village of Ngurdoto, at the foot of Mount Meru, for 1 night on 08.02.2024. We had a wonderful time with very nice and attentive hosts. All of your staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating - this is what a vacation in a beautiful setting should be like. We were back again in the Kibokolodge. A wonderful place to stay with a very friendly staff, good food and a lot of birds. The lodge is situated not far from the entrance of Arusha National park. Great stay at Kiboko Lodge including doing a couple of the tours (guided walk and meeting the local women coffee workers). The staff (trained by the associated Wototo Foundation for former streetboys)were great and was interesting to learn about their backgrounds and ambitions The birds during the day and the sound of all the frogs at night made this an idyllic place to chill for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay at Kiboko lodge. the watoto foundation does a great job helping young people with education and work. the lodge is therefore run by former street children. Everyone who works there is so enthusiastic and happy and cheerful, very special! the lodges are located in a beautiful garden. the food is delicious, every morning breakfast with a view. We had a walk to the village with guide from the logde, super!Go to Kiboko lodge! More than worth it. Thanks!

Lovely people, spacious room, lekker breakfast am we had a very interesting village hike, highly recommended. And we had a huge hornbill in our tree and beautiful sunbirds and weavers right in front of our nose during breakfast.

Most warm welcome by Joyce and the rest of the staff. Beautiful place where you can enjoy nature while being pampered by the staff. The rooms were nice and cosy. We had a perfect sleep in the comfortable beds. All meals (lunch, dinner and breakfast) were delicious and all served in different areas. Joyce and her team make you feel home immediately. Recommend to stay at Kiboko for a wonderful stay with lovely people.

As our first lodge in Tanzania Kiboko Lodge was just what we needed: a quiet, comfortable, beautiful eco-lodge in the beautiful forest. We were greeted on that day with an incredible hibiscus drink. The food was incredible. The staff was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
