This is a fantastic hotel, but there are a couple of small issues that I feel are not commensurate with a 5-star hotel. Firstly, they are unable to provide a hot chocolate without nuts (which is frustrating as the parent of an allergic child). Secondly, they charge for ketchup, citing sustainability, when they offer a breakfast buffet, which just seems a contradiction. The Staff are wonderful, but after two visits, we won’t be going back.

I had great four nights in this modern hotel with the friendliest staff. Room was modern with nice alpine lodge twist. Hotel was very quiet with mostly families visiting for ski holiday. Breakfast was excellent, although I would deduce half a point if I could for breakfast starting time. Breakfast starts fairly late at 7.15, which is too late if you want to be early on the slopes. Especially if you are going to Hintertux glacier with public transport. The train towards Mayrhofen leaves at 7.30. If only breakfast started 15 minutes earlier, it would be possible to have a quick breakfast and still catch the train. They will still pack you a couple of sandwiches, an apple and bottle of water if you miss the breakfast. Spa was a delight after a long day on the slopes - especially the sauna by the pool.

I'm not much of a reviewer, but we had an absolutely wonderful stay at DasPostHotel that I felt compelled to share our experience. We were greeted by the front desk with a welcome drink while all of our luggage was brought to our room, our car was moved, and we were given a tour of the hotel amenities. After settling in, we decided to enjoy the spa at the adults only sister hotel across the street (35 euro/person extra) and had a very relaxing experience. Both the spa at the hotel and the one at the sister hotel have sections that require patrons to be fully nude, and while this was a new experience for us as Americans, we got past the abundance of bare bodies quickly and very much enjoyed the saunas and steam room. Besides the spa, the food and staff were fantastic, there is amazing hiking nearby in the off season, and it's only a two hour drive from Munich. We can't wait to visit again!

This is a beautiful boutique property that offers a comfortable stay with excellent dining options. The cosy and green restaurant serves excellent breakfast and dining options. The staff members are very helpful and efficient. The view from the top floor is great!

This hotel is an oasis in the beautiful Zell am Ziller area. Close to the river, the hotel provides easy access to long strolls along the river, but - importantly - also the remarkable mountains that surround the valley. - The hotel has all the luxury conveniences you would expect and more from a wonderful pool to saunas and more. - An ample breakfast is served each morning to ensure you are fueled for your adventures. - There is excellent daily programming ranging from guided hikes to yoga. (Judy was a fabulous hiking guide.) - The staff is very friendly. (Sven, a trainee at the time of our stay, should definitely be promoted to full-fledged employee as he was wonderful.) While the town of Zell am Ziller itself may not be an attraction in its own right, it affords you a beautiful base camp for exploration. The views from the valley and the mountain tops are memorable.

Beautiful room -stylish and yet comfortable (only coffee maker in room missing), amazing wellness facilities especially considering the small number of rooms, attentive service staff at reception and in restaurant, restaurant with local food very good (only minus that they charge you 4.50 Euro per bottle of tap water even if you order a bottle of wine, also waiters don’t tell you before. Also unusual that management offers you a 50 EUR voucher for your next stay for a 5 star review) . Altogether very good for a certain price

I simply liked everything about this hotel. I felt expected long before arrival. Lovely staff, smiling and engaged. Excellent breakfast and menu in the restaurant: a la carte + offer of the day (classic + vegetarian option). Great bartender - what knowledge (not only about alcohols) and sense of humor! And massage was jest perfekt - as strong as I wanted and very stress relieving. From a 5* hotel we can usually expect a lot, but not to every hotel I would like to return, and to this hotel I would very much like to come again :-)

I stayed at this hotel only last week and can't speak highly enough about what a great experience I had. The use of wood, along with antique, hand-crafted furniture, gives in a truly unique, warm feel, that you'd struggle to find anywhere else. The staff were very welcoming, and opening the door to the room for the first time, and seeing how spacious it was, helped you to feel comfortable immediately. The facilities at the hotel are as good as you'll get, offering everything I needed during my stay. If you're in the area you have to stay at this hotel, as it's a unique experience in its own right.
