We booked for Sunday lunch with 10 members of family getting together for a birthday celebration. A beautiful setting especially on a sunny day, with plenty of outside seating to enjoy a pre meal drink whilst we waited for family to arrive. Once seated inside at our table we were able to choose from beef, gammon, chicken, fish pie and nut roast as the Sunday lunch options all accompanied with huge Yorkshire pudding roast potatoes and a lovely selection of fresh seasonal vegetables. The same selection was available as smaller portions for the children. The food, when it arrived, was piping hot and full of flavour. The generous portions meant not everyone could manage a dessert, but those who did certainly enjoyed their selection. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the a**osphere as a whole was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this delightful hotel to others.

Recently organised a family birthday party for my partner. There was 14 people present and we had an afternoon set 3 course menu. Everyone present said how good the meal was, outstanding food. The patience by Abbie helping me getting it organised was great as were all the staff on the day. I will be going to eat there again and have no hesitation recommending them.

There are very few restaurants for miles around which can offer the choice and quality that one gets at Furzeleigh Mill. The menu is excellent - everyone was very happy with their selections. For beer drinkers there's plenty of variety behind the bar but our group chose wine; several offered by the glass were very good. A huge bonus was the courtesy mini-bus which collected and dropped us - very much appreciated! We had a great evening - looking forward to going back already!

What a fabulous hotel firstly comfortable rooms have everything . Kettle lots of drink options. Hair dryer iron . Bed is so comfortable staff amazing Pipa /Abbey thanks for all your help . Restaurant and bar first class never seen so many gins. The restaurant lots of specials. All food brilliant. Special mention to breakfast all food cooked fresh coffee delicious .

We enjoyed our stay at Furzeleigh Mill. It is a boutique hotel that clearly prides itself on its ambiance and quality of service. The setting is excellent for anyone who wants to hike the moors, and the owner and staff were very helpful in providing directions to the best trails. We highly recommend staying here for a couple of days.

Room was attractively decorated although a bit on the small side. However it had everything we needed.

We recently hired this venue for a wake. The team did an excellent job at setting everything up, making sure all our guests were served and topped up with refreshments. They did what we asked like food, drink and photos we wanted put out, they displayed well.

Comfortable bed, nice cosy room, lovely staff and great dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.

This is a Jewel in the Crown on Dar**oor. Organised annual dinner for 18 people and overnight stay. Recently had real money spent on a superb refurbishment, rooms are 5 Star, super comfy, everything you would need for a luxury stay. Restaraunt is 5 Star + lovely ambience, excellent staff and food worthy of any 5 Star establishment at reasonable prices. We had a an agreed set menu which was absolutely superb, beautifully cooked and served by charming staff. This continues with an excellent, freshly cooked, breakfast. Just perfect to round up a thouraghly enjoyable overnight stay and meal. We'll done Tessa, trust you and your staff have many years ahead running this wonderful Inn/Hotel.
