Thank you for the most wonderful stay, Chris and Sheri. You made me feel at home the moment I arrived. I actually arrived before check-in time and you welcomed me. I was able to leave my luggage there so I could explore Asheville right away. You gave me tea and cookies before I headed out to explore. I felt bad about arriving early and you simply embraced me upon my arrival, showed me around the inn and gave me tasty snacks. Your inn is absolutely beautiful! The breakfasts were outrageously delicious! I am so appreciative that you shared with me special places to go and fun activities to do. As I mentioned, the inn is absolutely beautiful; I loved my amazing room and comfiest bed. I slept so well. My trip to Asheville was absolutely incredible due to your kindness. The 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House is everything a Bed & Breakfast should be. It’s historic and beautifully maintained. Chris and Sheri are wonderful and welcoming hosts. The home is comfortable with a late Victorian era charm. Breakfasts are delightful. This is a place that deserves repeat visits.

Beautiful Inn, wonderful room, a fabulous breakfast each morning and great hosts. We had a really fabulous weekend break.

This was our 4th visit to !898 Wright Inn and it just keeps getting better! The breakfasts Sheri prepares are superb in every way! We have enjoyed a gourmet breakfast on the cozy front porch, as well as the charming dining room, 12 times and have not been served the same menu twice. The Inn is 5 star quality in every aspect ... comfort, cleanliness, and service. Convenient to top notch restaurants and sightseeing. And, we particularly enjoyed the complimentary "happy social .hour" served, weather permitting, on the large front porch after a tiring day of sightseeing. Fun to mingle with other guests and compare notes. Of course, we'll be back!

My mom and I stayed for 4 nights in the Wright suite. Our entire experience at the Wright Inn was absolutely lovely! Chris ,Sheri & their kids felt like family by the time we left! The breakfast, homemade cookies, wine and charcuterie were superb. It’s a beautiful home and was immaculately clean! Beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient.We hope to make it back to Asheville in the future and would not consider staying anywhere else.

Comfortable, clean and friendly is the best way to describer 1899 Wright Inn. The hosts Innkeeper Chris and Sheri were engaging talking with the guests and their daughter Jennah was a delight to talk with. Jennah has an engaging and energizing personality and has much information to share about the area. Chris is a wealth of knowledge about the house and its history. The setting is ideal set among the historic homes in this Montford (sp) district. Do take time to go out for a walk and appreciate the serenity of the area, and then make your way back to this picturesque Inn. The breakfasts were tasty and warm and the coffee was excellent. You have options to sit at a community table or take a more intimate setting with whomever you are with. If the weather is good during your stay do be sure to take breakfast or afternoon refreshment out on the porch; you will love it. A little hidden secret is to ask for wine and charcuterie in the afternoon - all prepared at no cost to you. It is a delight. Our room, Griffin, was large, with a comfortable bed, cozy bath and plenty of storage. Do note that an iron is not provided although there are hangers and a closet for your clothes. Add this to you list of places to stay in the Asheville area.

Absolutely lovely. We just visited and enjoyed a lovely weekend for the second time at the Wright Inn. The staff and owners are soooo friendly. The rooms are cute, comfy, and still have nice bathrooms which is awesome. When we arrived, they had a local musician playing music in the parlor area, which was so relaxing. We'll definitely be coming back!

We stayed in the carriage house. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at home. Every detail was considered and the house was beyond clean. I could go on and on but here are the top reasons i would stay here again and again. Wonderful hosts The breakfast is gourmet; absolutely delicious. The sheets are like heaven. So so soft. The best experience at a bed and breakfast the attention to detail the quality of the food which Sheri makes everything from scratch and is excellent to the friendly staff you won’t find a better experience!!! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back!!!
