There was no sign saying the name of the hotel until you got up to what you thought was the entrance. Once you get to the entrance there's a piece of paper saying that there is nobody ever on site and that if your checking in or you need something you need to call the number listed on there. The hotel rooms have pad locks on them which has a code that you get from the check in receptionist. You can't pay at the property at all since no one is at the property. The photos of the property must be old photos because the rooms don't look anything like they do in the pictures

I really like the easiness of check in and check out. This place is really nice and only 30 minutes from Gettysburg!

This was a charming and unique tavern/motel. Clean, comfortable and the hosts went the extra mile to make our rooms cozy and so welcoming! In our room when we arrived, there was a basket with breakfast bars, oa**eal and hot chocolate. Also plenty of coffee pods for both days. Highly recommended!
