Good hotel, in a very nice position and staffs are helpful. Room was very clean and well equiped. They got everything u need in the room.

Motel 6 would not extend checkout. I had a luncheon meeting and my wife needed to work remotely. This made for a difficult juggling of luggage and internet access. I wish motels would inform customers before arrival to major construction and remodeling.

The 2nd floor was easily accessible from the outside; their were no locks on the door. You merely walked up the side of the building, up the stairs and open the door. That was actually very scary. The front desk staff was out of this world and not in a good way. The toilet was stopped up in the room through no fault of our own. The night person pleasantly said he’d get a plunger. However, he didn’t say we’d have to unstop the toilet ourselves. The morning person unfortunately, wasn’t pleasant at all. She said, with an attitude, mind you, that the plunger “had been done there all night and no one came to pick it up”. I’m like well no, I’m not doing that myself, it’s gross. She informed me that they don’t have anyone to do “that type of thing”and I’d have to?? I asked why wouldn’t housekeeping do that? She gruffly said, “because they don’t”.

They came to make my bed while I was gone and broke my stuff. Can’t hear TV. Windows bolted shut. Very dated elevator. Ice machine Don’t work. Parking is $15 a day deposit is $100

The check in process was very smooth and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a little dirty, there were some random hairs on the floor of the bathroom and the bedskirts were stained. Overall, the stay was fine. We just wanted to sleep.

At the time of check in, the front staff claimed that somebody in the parking lot was part of our group, and that we were trying to have 6 people in one room. The manager said to either buy and other room for a ridiculously upscaled price, or to leave immediately. Durham to the 6 hour drive, months of planning, and all the money spent on food and preparations, I was scammed out of an entire other room. The staff was also constantly in a terrible mood for the entire 5 night stay, being either very annoyed, rude, or lethargic. DO NOT STAY HERE - THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU

Property is located right next to the freeway. It’s dated but clean don’t expect much. Walkable to the Aquarium, world of Coca Cola & centenial park. 12 min walk to midtown.
