Convenient location just steps away from the waterfront and the numerous shops, bars, and restaurants. We received a free room upgrade. The room was pretty clean and perfect for my adult daughter and I. The room also came with a Keurig Coffee Maker and fridge, which are always a plus. The mattresses, bedding, and pillows were pretty comfortable.
The room smelled heavily of chlorine bleach. No amount of air freshener could mask it. The main door had such a big gap between it and the floor that everything in the hallway could be heard easily. Also, our room was right at the top of the stairs and at the beginning of the hall, so ALL pedestrian traffic and conversations were heard clearly and loudly. The flooring in this Inn sounds like a hallow or thin wood as it creaks in many places, and footsteps are loud. To make things worse, the maintenance guy, a younger hispanic man who spoke very little English kept knocking on our door when we were trying to catch up on some much needed sleep. He insisted on placing a shower head in our shower stall which i asked to do myself just to get rid of him so we could rest. He knocks a 3rd time and it is with the receptionist who informs me our room was the wrong room and didn't need the shower head. Smdh. The shower stall is tight and doesn't give much room to bend and move around. There are no towel bars ro hang your wet towels on. Water from the shower stall leaks out onto the floor.
