Definitely one of our favorite places to stay during our two week holiday in Scotland! We were warmly greeted upon our arrival by the owner Mark - who was also a wealth of knowledge about hiking in the area. Our room on the second floor was tastefully decorated and the bathroom was clean and modern. I truly appreciated Mark’s efforts to accommodate my food allergies - especially the gluten free pancakes he made - which helped power me through a 12 mile hike! The guesthouse is conveniently located within walking distance to town and a short drive to the Cairngorms hiking area. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

One of the best guest houses this walking group have stayed in. Lovely rooms, clean fresh decor, comfy beds, great breakfast,and,best of all, a warm friendly welcome.

Lovely stay at the Cairngorm guest house for 2 nights. The onsuite bedroom was clean and roomy, with very comfortable bed. Proprietors Mark and Susie were charming and attentive even when I had to call ahead to explain my train was late arriving. I had a cooked breakfast on the first morning. It was delicious served promptly and efficiently by the staff who were always on hand. On the second morning I had the scotch salmon and scrambled eggs which were superb. Close to the town centre with a nicely furnished lounge on a relatively quiet main road with ample parking at the front.

We stayed over the Easter Bank Holiday in a family room (2 adults and 1 child). The room and whole guesthouse was well maintained, finished to high standard and clean. The location is excellent. The breakfast was superb and really well managed by the staff who were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room had an information book that listed places to eat locally, which was really helpful. Overall this is a lovely guesthouse with staff doing a fantastic job. I’d definitely recommend it.

Fantastic B&B , recently re furbished to a high standard. Normally stay here 1-2 times a month on business due to the fact this B&B is so clean and comfortable and breakfast in the morning is always awesome. Staff work very hard and always give you a warm Highland welcome, would definitely recommend.

Lovely staff, great room with very comfortable beds and proper sheets. Wide selection of breakfast served, and all of it was delicious. Will definitely come back and stay here next time I’m mountaineering out of Aviemore.

Went to cheese and tomatin for our evening meal. It was very busy so they took my phone number and called us back. Excellent service in there and quality food. We recommend it. 5 min walk away from accommodation. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. Loved the stay here. Beds are comfy too.

Amazing stay yet again. The rooms are modern, bright and spacious and the interiors are just spot on. Immaculately clean and lovely little extras that you would find in a high end hotel. The breakfast is so good and really sets you up for a day exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. Honestly would rather stay here than any of the larger chain hotels in the area. Much better value for money. We will be back. Thanks again Mark and team 😃
