Residence les Cordeliers

Safe gated residence court. Spacious,clean, mini kitchen and suitable for family. 10min walk to Avignon central station. Breakfast good at 9.5 Euro. Service good but not 24 hours so need to contact in advance to get checked in. Only thing to my surprise is the bath place is the smallest ever used at approx 45x45 I guess. Hardly to turn or bend. No way to take kid for shower together. Not like hotels, here Luggage storage costs 1 Euro.

L'accueil est très prévenant. l'hôtel est situé à proximité du centre de la ville (idéal). Bien que professionnel, ca a été une très belle sortie.

Good location and great price. It is very basic but its value for money. Staff are great. Make sure you’re aware of reception opening hours. We walked from the train station along the original old town wall to the hotel. Only 15 minutes walk to the Papal Palace and you pass many cafes along the way.

Those who run the hotel Les Cordeliers were very rude to the customer, not at all empathetic at all: I had already stayed at Les Cordeliers before. Faced now with a small problem with my credit card for a single (1) night stay of 60 euros -a very small problem that I immediately offered to solve by paying with my debit card or in cash, since my bank did not solve it yet and there is a big time difference so as to be able to respond to Les Cordeliers in the time limit they gave me to solve it (yes, they gave me a time limit, incredible) -, they told me (one day before arriving) that they would undo my resvera; they treated me rudely; They were not empathetic or kind in search of a solution; and they even made cynical jokes among themselves about my situation. This treatment with clients is unacceptable, especially being a hotel that is supposed to deal with multicultural clients. If they do not want to understand that there may be other possible realities and if they laugh at customers, then it is mistreatment and xenophobia in the face of diverse realities. It was a very bad experience, which I do not wish anyone to go through. Look for another hotel where those who serve you treat you well: that is my recommendation.

Very nice hotel inside the historical area of Avignon. Very good price and location. Close to Palais des Papes and beautiful little streets with many vendors. Had stayed here before. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

No frills but a comfortable apartment with basic but decent self-catering facilities. Great value for money. Just inside the city wall, it's in an excellent location for exploring the old city by foot. The apartment is also near Avignon Central station and convenient for day trips by train and bus.

Why recommend? The hotel not only valuable & also have a very clean room, just around 10 minutes from the Gare de Avignon, along the main street, once see the Tourists center, just turn a left side corner then walking down the quiet street. The hotel located an everything to easy access e.g. supermarkets, shopping, cafe restaurants & sightseeing points,etc I also thanks the hotel staffs for help about my late check-in at 10pm, they keep going for let me know about night check-in procedures, it is real a very good customers service, especially for 1st time visiting Avignon. Anyway the Residence Les Cordeliers, one of good choice.

Basic room for stay is prefer option. -Affordable price -Great location close to bus station, train station and down town. -basic equipment, -clear room -nice service for check in and explain where u can go. Cons : Poor wifi network
