Very nice hotel with good breakfast and friendly staff.

Upon reaching the hotel we were initially impressed by the service and the clean room. They provided a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room as it was an anniversary which was a lovely touch. We found the bar staff and chefs to be friendly with a wide range of drinks and a lovely selection of well prepared, tasty food. The location is excellent as it is between the center of the town and the lovely Nissi beech close to the sea and our room had a lovely view. Unfortunately during our stay our towels were not changed and on day 5 the room was not cleaned by the house keeping team. I decided to speak to reception and ask for a proper clean and fresh towels which I was confident could be quickly and easily resolved. I was assured that this would be immediately be fixed which was great. However several hours later I found myself having to go back to reception to chase this. Again I was told it would be resolved. Still this didn't happen so I spoke directly to the rep who got us the towels and arranged for the room to be properly cleaned the next morning. As compensation I was told they would waive the late check out charge, all I had to do was let them know the day before I left. On the day before last I spoke to reception regarding the late check out and they said I had to come back by 8pm to speak to them. I dutifully did this but at 8pm I was told by a bored looking receptionist that she couldn't do anything and to come back in the morning (this was rather inconvenient as I wanted to go on an excursion). The following morning my son went to reception and they told him we would be charged for the late check out so once again I found myself at the reception. At this point they got someone from the management team who came out and asked me to sign an NDA which excluded me from leaving reviews on the hotel if they waived the late check out fee! I found this rather insulting and refused to sign so they charged me. Fortunately the Tui rep stepped in and Tui then paid this without me having to sign anything. In conclusion this would have been a glowing report on the hotel as the facilities and most of the staff are great, IF they had better customer service and communication in their reception and management teams. I understand that problems sometime occur, but what is important is how they are resolved and unfortunately the team at the Sungarden Park Hotel failed at resolving what should have been minor issues.

We have just returned from our wonderful family holiday in Cyprus. We stayed at Sungarden Park for 10 nights and it was amazing. We have a 10 month old little girl and were a little apprehensive about her first holiday however, staying here has made us feel at ease. Firstly the staff were all so kind and considerate especially towards our little girl, they all made so much effort to interact with her which was so wonderful to see. The head chef is around nearly every day, we even saw him on his day off which was brilliant. The bar staff never stop, including the bar manager, again so kind to us and our daughter. We needed to request a courtesy room during our last day and this was booked with reception staff with ease allowing us to enjoy our last day without any worries. The food was amazing, so much choice and always replenished so fast, the chefs come out and ensure the food is up to standard regularly. It has been the best all inclusive buffet we have ever had. There was so much choice of fruit, healthy snacks, main meal choice throughout was brilliant, we took baby food pouches for our baby but didn’t need to use them as there was so much choice we felt comfortable to give to her. The snack bar was also so good, quick and simple but still lots of choice including salads, wraps, oats and yoghurt if you didn’t want chips and burger/nuggets/pizza. The lobby bar also had sandwiches and cakes too to enjoy with a hot drink if you wanted to cool off for a while. The separate Italian restaurant was so good, see photos! We were allowed 2 visits during our 10night stay and used both, the beef was amazing! So much so we felt the need to give compliments to the head chef straight after. The staff were brilliant in regards to helping with our baby, we thought we may not have been able to use the high chair before dining room opened but they allowed us to use the microwave if she was hungry before they opened and let us sit in the lobby to feed her which was so good, they also gave us cellophane if we made her a sandwich up for her lunch to put in her tuppawear box. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was so comfy and queen sized with a quilt! Aircon worked excellent and the bathroom was huge! We used a small paddling pool to bath our baby and it fitted in the shower which was great. The maid Maria worked tirelessly and always left us water and clean towels in the room. The room had a travel cot which had a a comfy mattress in for our little girl which after arriving in the middle of the night was a relief, the reception staff also left us cake and sandwiches on our arrival. There was a coffee machine and also a kettle. The pool was clean and tidy, always sunbeds available on the lawn area but the beds around the pool go fast, only downside would be a table to each pair of sunbeds especially on the lawned area to put drinks as they tip over if on the grass. Towels can be changed every day as many times as you need also which was

Once arrived at the hotel, quick and easy check in, which then someone showed us to our room. The pool area was really nice and kept very clean to a high standard every day, the girls and guy on the bar were very nice and kept everything moving, only big bare on the pool area is there needs to be a toilet put in somewhere as you have to go in the hotel and trek down to the gym as it’s the closest one. The hotel rooms were really nice, maids come in and cleaned every day. Only wanted one double and got 2 singles also, balcony very nice and good view Over the week the food was at a good standard with a wide variety changing every day (apart from breakfast) The entertainment staff were excellent, keeping to his schedule and always upbeat and good with the kids, good man All in all, would definitely return especially with the price paid!

We stayed here for a week at the end of May as a young couple. We went for an extremely chilled out holiday and had the most incredible experience! We would normally consider ourselves slightly picky eaters but we never felt stuck and there was always choices for food! There was different themes in the restaurant every night which we loved! We went all inclusive and the cocktail and drink options were great! i’ve never had a hotel with so many options! all of the staff throughout the entire hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a standard room and it was beautiful, we love a modern look so it was right up our alley! There was always loungers available by the pool when we got up, even with people reserving them. The only slight oddity we found was there is no public toilets (to our knowledge) and you had to go back to your room to use the bathroom. For us this was okay as our room was very close to the pool and pool bar, although i imagine for some this was a slight pain if they were further away. We used our free visit to the A La Carte on the Saturday night and it was perfect! Again, we went as a young couple of 19 and 20 although there was plenty families with children ranging all ages and they all seemed to have a good a time as is! I could happily see myself re-booking this hotel in the future! As i said we did a relaxed holiday but those who prefer a bit more adventure there is still plenty to do and the Tui staff can help with excursions and such! 100% recommend. To sum it up I don’t really have a bad word to say about this hotel and i could happily see myself re-booking this hotel in the future.

Very nice hotel with good food and perfect service. The swim up room was very nice and the cleaning was good! Fun activities both day and evening. We surely be back to Cyprus and to this hotel. Good location, not far to the beach and shopping. ☀️

The hotel is amazing the food is good and would recommend booking al acart restaurant. Entertainment it fab picasso is amazing with all people he runs everything and is so nice would recommend joining in with games. Hotel is clean and has good facilities

Below was my original review which I deleted because I wanted to update it: The update: we’ve just returned to our room after a day at the pool and it is immaculate! The house keeper did ask to see us but wasn’t available when I went to reception; however they have obviously really listened to my review as the room is exactly what I expected from this hotel! Thank you for listening to the review and addressing it so quickly! Original review: This is our second visit to the hotel and we’re half way through our stay now. We love the location, the food and the staff. The pool is large and comfortable and the view of the sea is amazing. The staff in the dining room and bars are great and there is always someone taking glasses and keeping the pool area clean and tidy. Food is great, lots of options for adults and children and everything is replenished quickly. We had an issue with our A/C and the maintenance team came out to look straight away and sorted the problem. Our reason for not giving 5* this time is the cleaning of the room. Room cleaning seems hit and miss this time, we’ve had a couple of occasions where it’s been the evening before anyone has come to clean and then we’ve been getting ready for dinner so it hasn’t been appropriate for them to come in. We’ve had one day where our beds have been made since we got here and upon arrival there were marks in the shower from body wash, dust and dirt between the beds and hairs on the bedroom floor. The maid has told us that she can’t fit everything in so we didn’t want to complain, we tried to subtly ask for water for the room, mentioning that the room hadn’t been cleaned to reception but it felt like we were being fobbed off - making us more suspicious that the workload is too much for the cleaning staff. It’s a shame as last year the cleaning was amazing and we couldn’t fault the hotel - hopefully this will be resolved before the main summer season.
