The motel is built with thin wall, we heard ppl talking all night outside our room until 3 in the mid-night……horrible!

I feel that the property should fully disclose that they are really a motel without a restaurant during off season. There is an Inn, which is being renovated and a restaurant that is closed from Sept to July… so I really feel, that they incorrectly advertise themselves on *******. This bothers me… It is in a good location, the staff are friendly and helpful and lots of parking when you’re the only guests. I was really disappointed that we did not get to stay in the historic Inn but out back in the small motor inn… I was shocked. It spoiled my holiday…We recovered but please advise others… If you book on *******, you end up in a motor motel and not a lovely historic Inn with some Alexander Graham Bell and 1800’s history… I am still sad, my apologies but I must caution others…

We stayed in the motel section and it was updated and very clean. Excellent, central location.

A great hotel/motel right in the heart of the town. Everything was walkable. Great front desk staff and great service. The room we had was clean and comfortable.

Older style three storey house had appeal. Carrying bags up three flights of stairs to room on third floor lost that appeal. Small room - overpriced - value for money spent. Was able to get a 5 star hotel in Dartmouth for the same price. Price gouging in a tourist area always turns me off. Pigeons cooing on roof during the night was an annoyance. overall the room was very clean.

A traditional period hotel in a good location. Easy access to local amenities, and a great restaurant.

Stayed in motel part. Clean. Very "vanilla"room. White ceiling, white walls, white bedspread. No pictures. Felt very cold, not visually pleasant. Only 2 coffees, no tea.

Great to stay at an establishment that has been in multiple generations. Friendly and helpful staff.

A lovely one night stay. The restaurant advertises farm to table. The best meal on/close to the Cabot Trail.

The property is old but clean. For the price it was a good stay. Good bed and close to everything we needed.

A little disappointed that a lot of the stores & some restaurants were closed during Labour Day weekend.

It was ok, just a motel. All the dining places i wanted to go were closed on Mondays or for the season.

The hotel lacks many in-room needs including luggage rack, laundry bag, extra pillows, uncomfortable bed with very lumpy mattress is my biggest complaint.

excellent location in the heart of Baddeck. walkable access to shops and restaurants. Loved the little porch around the motel portion of the property.
