Very good hotel, spa included. Well priced. Staff is very helpful. Parking included. They allow next day spa entrance for 10 є per person . Downside, looks a little bit funky, with antique interior details , but overall experience is very good.

Fromm the moment we walked in, we were really impressed — the hotel’s design is beautiful, and it immediately felt warm and welcoming. We just loved the unique vibe of the place. One of the best parts of our stay was definitely the hotel’s connection to Romertherme. Seriously convenient! There’s even a little corridor that leads straight to the thermal baths, so we could just pop over whenever we wanted. Nearby, we found a charming park , called Rosarium, full of roses and a small lake — perfect for a calm stroll. If I were to pick something that could be better, it would probably be the WiFi. In my room the signal was constantly "poor". For those into cycling, it seemed like you could rent bikes right from the hotel, which is great. Plus, there’s this cozy little bar with a decent drink selection, and in the evenings, you can have a friendly game of billiards. All in all, it’s a lovely hotel full of character, with awesome access to the thermal baths and some thoughtful extras. If they could fix the WiFi, it’d be nearly perfect.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Very clean. Staff were helpfully, the breakfast was tasty. The swimming pool and sauna were very comfortable. The rooms number 222 and 224 have good location. Thank you very much and we will be back. Sure 🤝

An overnight stay in the spa town of Baden near Vienna. A very convenient location, easy to find and not as busy as Vienna would be. In Baden old town and like being in Vienna in miniature. The hotel is so interesting. A grand building that has the most interesting interior design full of unusual artifacts, furniture and art. Worth staying just for that. But the location, comfortable large room, sprawling spa complex and delicious breakfast are reasons in themselves to have a few nights here. Thoroughly enjoyed the stopover mainly due to the hotel.

Das Gutenbrunn Thermen & Sporthotel is a 4-star hotel with notable advantages, but my stay had several drawbacks that impacted my overall experience. **Positives:** 1. **Direct Connection to Roman Thermen:** The hotel’s direct corridor connection to the Baden Roman Therme is a significant benefit, making it convenient to access the mineral baths. 2. **Spacious Rooms and Bathrooms:** The rooms and bathrooms are large, with big windows that can be opened for fresh air. 3. **Friendly Staff:** The staff was excellent—everyone from reception to cleaning and kitchen staff was helpful and friendly. **Negatives:** 1. **Bed Quality:** The mattress was too soft, and even with an orthopedic pillow, I woke up sore every morning. This poor bed quality negated the benefits of the Roman Therme. 2. **Breakfast:** Limited fresh fruit options (only apples) and mostly canned fruit. This is disappointing for a 4-star hotel in June when fresh local fruits should be available. The breakfast felt overpriced given the lack of fresh options. 3. **Room Amenities:** Missing several expected amenities: - No hair conditioner or toothpaste provided. - Limited reception hours (8 AM to 7 PM). - Hot water for drinks only available from 2 PM to 10 PM in the main hall. - No sewing kit or vanity set in the room. - Poor lighting in the room during the evening. - No laundry service or slippers provided. - No restaurant and room service. 4. **Noise:** Many windows face the parking lot, leading to noise disturbances. Cigarette smoke could often be smelled from the smoking area below, especially with open windows. **Overall:** The hotel's location and staff are commendable, but the bed quality and breakfast offerings need improvement. The hotel is overpriced for the service provided, and these issues significantly affected my stay.

We booked the Das Gutenbrunn Thermen & Sporthotel to explore Baden, Vienna and Semmering. The swimming pool complex set high expectations. It exceeded them all. The rooms are very spacious. The family room has separate spaces for double and twin beds. A tasty breakfast is served in a very nice and spacious room. The hotel is located in a quiet area within walking distance to Beethoven-Haus Baden, cafes, markets and restaurants. Vienna Airport and Rathausplatz are approximately half-hour drive, making this hotel a great base to explore several attractions.

[I put away things that can be improved] This is a very special, very lovable place. Extremely outstriking with lots of things that amaze. Very atmospheric. It was a spontaneous booking and it brought a jewel. If i can afford it in the future I'll be coming back again and again. I used to have money and travelled a lot and such place in Europe is a find. Its not yet a luxury and prices are very democratic but i feel it will change soon. Really highly recommend! ❤️ PS best reception I met in Europe

Das Gutenbrunn Thermen & Sporthotel befindet sich in einem denkmalgeschützten historischen Gebäude, in dem Beethoven einst zuhause war. Die individuell eingerichteten Zimmer bieten ein Flachbild-TV und sind angenehm geräumig. Bademäntel und entsprechende Handtücher für Sauna / Therme werden zur Verfügung gestellt. In den Betten schläft man wirklich exzellent! Im Badezimmer ist leider kein Vergrößerungsspiegel vorhanden, die Handtücher sind tlw. eher sehr dünn, weil schon extrem oft gewaschen. Die öffentlichen Bereiche verfügen über Elemente im Jugendstil und sind eher etwas eigenwillig gestaltet. Es gibt viele wirklich tolle Einrichtungsgegentstände, aber leider wirkt die Hotelhalle mit Dekoelementen geradezu "überschüttet". Dieser eigenwillige Stil zieht sich durch das gesamte Haus. Der Frühstücksraum ist etwas ruhiger gestaltet, das Buffet-Angebot ist ausreichend und qualitativ hochwertig, wobei das Rührei leider sehr "wässrig" ist bzw. in einer Flüssigkeit schwimmt. Bei Rezeption und Service allgemein kann man sowohl sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite, aber auch mürrische und kurz angebundene Damen vorfinden. Schade ist, dass man als Hotelgast erst ab 11 Uhr in die Therme zum Schwimmen gehen kann.

Die Villa Gutenbrunn ist ein ausgefallenes Hotel, im positiven Sinn. Seine Inneneinrichtung und Dekoration ist einzigartig und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Familienzimmer war sehr grosszügig und ebenfalls aussergewöhnlich lässig gestaltet. Super war der 24h-Barbereich, wo man verschiedene Spiele spielen kann und dazu etwas trinken oder knabbern kann, in Selbstbedienung (natürlich gegen Entgelt). Das Frühstücksbuffet im tollen Frühstückssaal war vielseitig und schmackhaft. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, das ganze Hotel sauber. Ein Plus ist sicher auch der direkte und kostenfreie Zugang zur Therme. Wir können das Hotel vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen, insb. - aber nicht nur - als Familienhotel.

für mich unverändert in Baden/Wien eine Traumunterkunft, tolles Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal generell. Der Gratisbesuch in der Römerquelle TOP, in den Doppelhofpark sind es nur wenige 100m durch einen Park, ins Zentrum der Stadt maximal 5`min. Kurpark und Casino ebenfalls in diesem Bereich

Das Hotel und das Team sind unverändert TOLL. Gutes Frühstück, Besuch in der Therme in Muss. Komme zwar nur mehr jährlich 1 x wird aber mein "Zuhause" in Baden bleiben. Weiter so, Danke

Hôtel magnifique avec un style du 18 ème siècle, chambre très spacieuse et très confortable et calme. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié sur la semaine, accès aux thermes depuis l intérieur de l'hôtel. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Superbe séjour.

Wir waren 1 Wochenende hier und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war TOP! Hatten Halbpension mit Thermeneintritt und Sauna dabei. Das Hotel ist sehr originell-individuell eingerichtet und es gibt viel zum Anschauen und Staunen. Unser Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber die Betten sehr bequem und alles sehr sauber. Lediglich ein bisschen zu warm war es im Zimmer (24 Grad) was wir trotz Runterdrehen der Heizung nicht in den Griff bekommen haben, aber mit gekipptem Fenster. Mir hat gut gefallen, dass man nichts vom Nachbarzimmer durch gehört hat. Zu Fuß ist man schnell in der Innenstadt und kann schöne Wanderungen in die umliegenden Parks und Wälder unternehmen. Man kommt auch gut über den Verbindungsgang im Bademantel zur Therme. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlichen und hilfreich. Wir kommen garantiert wieder her!

Wieder toll, passt alles. Check in schnell, Zimmer gut, alles da, fast alles sauber, Frühstück t o p und Personal angenehm, Self Service Bar perdekt, nicht zu teuer und Zimmer sogar mit Wanne und Kühlschrank, relativ ruhig in der Lobby trotz Wochenende. Stammhaus in Baden 👍
