Just had the best stay! Would definitely come back, the hotel is incredible, food is delicious and staff very friendly!

The hotel is beautiful, clean and the food has been the "BEST" for an all inclusive. The different options of "Authentic Mexican" foods was the best part. Usually resorts provide "American" food and not "Mexican" food. The evening entertainment needs more vibes, the shows are not as entertaining as other resorts. I do admit that the "Michael Jackson Show" was the best out of the rest of the week. The pool was too small for all the people that were there during my stay. We needed to upgrade to have a VIP access to the other smaller pool, which was also packed at all times. One of my recommendations, is to add a bar grill by the bar and have snacks there instead of walking all the way to the restaurant with wet clothes. Milton was excellent, he make sure we were having a wonderful time all day and all night. The bar tenders at the lobby, Oscar and Andres did an amazing job with the drinks and they were very friendly and fun to be around. The entertainment at the lobby was just ok, nothing special. This resort needs a designated club to have a DJ at night, the lobby bar is too small to accommodate too many people. Some of us would like to hear music past 10pm.

The view from our room was amazing, the food was even better. The nightly shows were fresh and fun. Taxi service from the hotel is top notch

Restaurant/buffet staff not very attentive, usually have to go up to the serving stations to ask for drinks, spoons, etc. Had to go to our room to get our own drinks out of the mini bar sometimes. Waiter spilled my husband's drink and never brought a new one. Signing up for a la carte's not very streamlined, we were told different things by different staff. Ran out of food at a la carte restaurants and sometimes didn't replenish things. Food choices were good, certain staff great (some terrible), good gym, good pool, good beach area but needs palapas for shade. Rooms good, but couldn't get towels we asked for (had to ask almost every day). Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and hope some of the deficiencies will be corrected in the future.

Overall, it was great. I loved the variety in daily activities the resort hosts and the staff were all very nice and friendly. Excellent service overall. Enjoyed playing volleyball by the beach and ping pong, and other activities. I wish they offered a shuttle service to and from the airport and wished there was more fresh juices. Otherwise, we enjoyed our vacation at Occidental Nuevo Vallarta.

We felt the resort was a nice size - medium. The rooms were nicely appointed. The staff seemed happy and created a nice spirit and a**osphere overall. Food was good but with a somewhat limited selection. Several above and beyond features encountered through our stay. Would go back.

Property and staff were excellent and friendly Only down side was reservation for restaurants very hard to get.
