ジ・アンバレーホテル(The Amberley Hotel)

Lovely place to stay, friendly staff and food was good . They have Asian food which you and eat from the bar . But other food is in the restaurant.

Great service. Pleasant staff.

The rooms were on the small side with nowhere to put anything by the bed eg no bedside tables. Also no bedside lights.

Awesome people. Flexible and friendly. The beds were a bit hard but that’s about preference. Yummy food!

As soon as you go through the entrance you feel welcomed by the staff. Great rooms, shared bathroom and the shared kitchen facilities were top notch and pristine. Even being on the main drag it was quiet at night. The food was amazing, generous and very tasty. Not a bad word to say about the hotel, will definitely go back and highly recommended if you want to stop outside of Christchurch

The Amberly hotel was a clean , well appointed hotel. I stayed on a Public holiday. When I arrived to check in, there were no instructions via email and the place was closed, there was a note pinned to the door giving the access code for entry to the building. Then all the room keys were laid out in envelopes on the table which was visible from the glass front door, so anyone could have entered the building and taken a room key. This made me feel unsafe. There were no dining facilities, however there was free tea/coffee, toast and cereal. Hardly anything was open in the town that day so it was hard to find somewhere to eat. I could not access the TV using instructions given in the in room guidebook, I am good with tech. On the bright side, the place was super clean and tidy, decor was quite new and the bed was comfortable.

Check in process was great, i was staying as attending a function here. The staff were so good to deal with, special shout out to McKenzie (hope I spelt correctly) any requests were dealt with quickly. Would stay there again but next time I will upgrade to ensuite room 😊

Wevhad the apartment which had an unusual configuration. We ate at the restraunt but found the food below standard. Overall the hitel was clean and tidy (recent renovation) inside was quiet with the windows closed but riad noise could be heard. Beds very comfortable. The TV's were an absolute mysteryneither of which i could get to work that was disappointing
