Fifth time here, fourth year in a row. A nice hotel with big rooms, a nice golf course, a beach, and a spa that is degrading more each year. They don't do anything about it, yet they constantly try to make you pay for every service that, at any other 5-star resort in the world, is free. Now, allow me to tell you more. Until last year, the on-site parking was free. Then they realized that the resort is next to the highway, and from the entrance to the hotel, you have to drive 1.4 km. So, you either leave your car on the side of the road and walk with your luggage or pay 12 BGN/day (6 EUR) for parking. Then you go to check-in and find that it’s only 12:00, and you have to wait until 14:00 to check in because there are no cleaned and available rooms. But the arrogant local receptionist does you the "favor" of letting you leave your luggage in your check-in room, but that’s all. You’re not allowed to enter it until 2:00 PM. You accept and go to the room to leave the luggage only to find out that the room was already cleaned… Then you go back to the reception to ask for pool towels, but you have to pay a deposit to get them because it’s not 2:00 PM and you’re not officially a hotel guest. It doesn’t matter that you did the check-in, gave your ID, received a room card, and you just arrived and not leaving anytime soon 😃. But after long debates and approval from the reception manager, we got pool towels without a deposit. 2:00 PM came, and you’re finally allowed to enter your 5-star hotel room, but you find out that it’s not been renovated in 15+ years, with stains and holes on the blanket, dusty carpets that you hate to walk on, and a sewage smell invading the bathroom every time you flush the toilet. Then there are the amenities: two 0.5l bottles of water. Be careful! You have to pay 3.5 BGN (1.8 EUR) for each. You also have two Lavazza coffee capsules. "Great," you say, because you don’t look over the small cards mentioning the cost of each: 4 BGN (2. EUR) per capsule, per day… Then there’s the kids' playground, where the kids can only play barefoot, but the carpet is so dirty that it is better to keep your kids away from it (see the attached pictures). On the positive side, there’s a decent breakfast, better than in previous years, and a well-maintained golf course and spa. But finally it comes the time to check out, and you plan on staying a few more hours because your 3-year-old kid wants to play some more in the pool. But first, you have to get back the morning's picked-up towels and get the towel cards back, do the check-out where the towel cards are mandatory, or you pay for the towels, then go to the spa and pay “a small deposit” for two towels. The amount of “small” is relative, as one receptionist told us 10 BGN (5 EUR) while another said 50 EUR. Anyway, you’re doing it as it’s just a refundable deposit. Or not… At the spa, you find out that if you have checked out, you have to pay to use the pools: 30 BGN/adult (15 EUR) and 15 BGN/kid (8 EU
