We stayed here for our 5th wedding anniversary last weekend. It was our first trip away together since our little girl was born last year so it was extra special. The whole experience was amazing. The hotel staff looked after us very well and really helped us feel welcomed. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the cocktails were so good. The weather was also really good and the spa area felt extra relaxing with the wonderful views

We came for a 2 night break after a wedding weekend in Sligo. We booked a riverside suite and availed of the spa facilities. From the moment we checked in and met Matthew (who was just brilliant) it set the tone for a fabulous stay. It might have rained the entire time but it did not dampen our mood. We can’t wait to come back again. We had lunch in the hotel and ate our elsewhere but lunch was fabulous and the breakfast was also really good; we will try dinner in the hotel next time. We read some negative reviews about the food but our experience was wholly positive. Can’t fault this hotel at all.

Such a beautiful location and superb staff- everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Nothing was too much trouble. Loved Ballina. Great breakfast but dinner was disappointing/ would have had dinner a second evening but it fell short of expectations. Everything else was top rate.

Brilliant all round! Warmly welcomed by the receptionist and those in the spa who were all excellent. The spa was amazing and I loved the seaweed bath! So peaceful and the location makes it a ten. I ate in the restaurant afterward, chicken Caesar wrap was delicious. I think they need more staff in there as they seem quite rushed but they do a great job trying to do it all! Teapot came out with dust on which wasn’t great but apart from that, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will remember it for a long time to come. Thank you

Booked a riverside suite and it was fabulous The view was amazing you just sit and watch the day go by Also used the spa - back massage by Natasha was excellent Freshly cooked breakfast daily also good - all staff were really friendly throughout the hotel

Staying in the Bronze Suite at the Ice House Hotel was a treat! The suite was luxurious and comfortable, with a breathtaking view of the River Moy. The staff at the Ice House Hotel were exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable experience. Their friendly and professional demeanour made me feel truly valued as a guest.
