8 ザ アビー(8 the Abbey)

This is a lovely apar**ent well decorated, easily accessible and close to the town. Unfortunately there are two main issues: 1. The hallway light is on a sensor and timer with no way to switch on or off manually. This could be / was problematic if anyone wants to sleep with the door open but is also light sensitive. The light lasts around 30 minutes I believe before switching itself off. 2. By far the biggest issue is the heating. We were there during winter, and when we got into the apar**ent it was stone cold. There is no way to adjust the heat other than to text the owner / maintainer as they have the control. They have it set to come on and off at 2 hour intervals and they set the temperature. I did text and did get a prompt reply and they adjusted the time and temp but it did little to heat the rooms before it had gone off again. We spent the two days there under our duvets in the living room watching TV using the cooker every now and then to get warm. Had we have been staying for more than 2 nights we would have cut it short and found somewhere else to stay. Possibly a good place in summer, but definitely not in colder months without being able to adjust the heat.

Wonderful place, apar**ent very comfortable and designed with the best taste. Ideally located in the heart of Ballycastle, and indeed next to the giant causeway. Strongly recommanded

Excellent property, beautifully decorated. Only disappoin**ent was we only went for one night and were all wakened by the sound of the bin lorry outside early the next morning and someone buzzing the door bell.

Beautiful apar**ent, very tastefully decorated and comfortable, perfectly located, would definitely use again
