ザ ウォーターズ カントリー ハウス(The Waters Country House)

Absolutely magical find nestled in the Irish countryside. The host was top notch from our first interaction through our last. The property is adorable and really makes you feel like you are experiencing Ireland. Wonderful breakfast, beautiful room, easy to park and did I say charming host! Don't look twice if you need a place in this area. Easy drive to the Cliffs of Moher too.

The Country house turned out to be a great last minute booking for my wife and I as we drove around Ireland. We were a bit skeptical as we drove down the crazy Irish off-road to get there, but ended up really enjoying the quite location. Wolfgang and his staff were great and the Irish breakfast was everything we expected. Only note, the lack of a television in the room threw my wife off a bit. Just different than we're used to, that's all.

One word: MAGICAL! This was our first trip to Ireland and this was our FAVORITE stay!! Our hosts Maria and Wolfgang are natural hosts and couldn't have made our stay any better or make us feel more welcome! The Full Irish Breakfast was the best we had in Ireland, it was so nice to visit with the hosts and hear a bit about the location and wonderful suggestion for dinner. Our room overlooked the green beauty that is Ireland and honestly, the stay here really helped make our first trip so memorable. Thank you Maria and Wolfgang!!

Wolfgang’s hospitality and the idillic location in the Burren makes this a very unique and peaceful experience. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. It felt like we were hosted by family. We were very pleased by the availability of a taxi to the small town for dinner.

The reviews are correct. Great place, great people, and great food. What more do you need. Plan to be back next year.

Wolfgang and his wife, Maria, were delightful hosts. Beds were comfortable and breakfast yummy. My only issue was that a bat got in our room (no screens on the windows) and this was a bit unexpected.

Perfect location centrally located from Galway, the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, and Doolin. Wolfgang and Maria are wonderful hosts! Service and morning breakfast were first rate. Local restaurants with live Irish and non Irish music.
