Radisson Blu Hotel, Bamako

It was like a ghost town when I arrived late at night Literally 10-12 guests in the entire hotel Cozy and highly secure place Food was decent Courteous staff Rooms were decent but need to be maintained Looks a little rundown due to lack of guests Sunday brunch in the pool area used to be crowded earlier but none now The massage centre was shut down

It was COVID time so for sure you will not see the best reviews but here is mine . At time of arrival , we were a group of 6 people. Not a lot of staff to help us but it was fine. Elevators are very tiny so we could only get in 2 or 3 people at a time. We made it to our room . The rooms were nice but could certainly get some update. Rooms were clean ( I said clean not extraordinary clean). Staff were present but not sure what they were doing as we don't really see them except for front desk . Staff were not always in uniform so security wise we did not know who was who . When cleaning the room it was done quickly not effectively. Hot water was not constant. The lobby was nice . There was a restaurant but very empty . Food was very good but you would have to wait a very long time before you could eat. It was almost faster to order out . Then again keep in mind that it was covid time and services were low quality. Pool area was well maintained but not the best . Gym was out of service and nothing was being done to fix that. Parking area was very small for a big Hotel like that . Lots of security which was very awesome ( keep in mind there was a terrorist attack a few years back so they pumped up the security ) . The staff members were very nice and courteous , same for security. Stayed there for 10 days . We went to the store near by and bring everything to our room. Overall it was a good quiet stay but the hotel definitely needs an upgrade and does not compare to the other Radisson Blu Hotels in Africa. Hope this helps .

Even the Radisson sign on the front of the hotel is rusted. To enter the hotel, you go through the soldiers' interrogation. The hotel is like abandoned. The amazing pizzeria in the other comments is closed. Although the rooms are not too bad, they are neglected. There is a kettle in the room but there is neither water nor tea nor coffee. We couldn't understand why Radisson still keeps this ruin inside. I wonder if Radisson knows about this hotel? Do not book under the name Radisson. reception staf is nice.

Horrible Breakfast (no choice) at 15,00 EUR extra and disgusting coffee (espresso costs extra!) Old and dirty hotel! There were no lights in the hallways! Rooms cost 105 EUR with no breakfast...! Pool and surroundings was very dirty, fitness center and spa could not be used (dirty and deteriorated!)

Rooms were very clean. Better than other Radissons I have visited on the Continent. Staff was attentive and courteous even with the language barriers. Restaurant has a nice buffet breakfast and dinner. Omelets to order, nice selections. Bar was good. Pool bar not open on this trip.

Une horreur cet hotel. L'humidité et la saleté au rendez vous. De plus, tout manque niveau équipement, on dirait un hotel sans etoile. Le petit personnel est plein de bonne volonté mais cela ne suffit pas malheureusement. A éviter absolument

Hôtel très sale, propreté ZÉRO . Petit déjeuner nul, pas de café, viennoiseries degueu. On vous facture le café si vous demandez une deuxième tasse. Service restauration nul. Chambre très très sale. Jamais y aller
