Unacceptable service for a "5-star" property
Extremely disappointing experience at The Chancery Pavilion. For a hotel that claims a 5-star rating, the basic hospitality and customer service were completely non-existent.
Slow Check-in: The receptionist was painfully slow, making the check-in process an unnecessary hassle.
Zero Basic Hospitality: No staff offered to assist with my luggage, and no one bother to escort me to my room. These are basic standards expected at any decent hotel, let alone a luxury property.
Miscommunication & Wasted Time: I ordered snacks via Blinkit, which were left at security. I called reception and requested them to send the parcel to my room. They agreed, but after waiting 15 minutes, I called back only to be told it was against hotel policy to deliver outside parcels. If that was the policy, they should have informed me on the first call instead of making me wait.
Dismissive Staff: When checking out, I explicitly requested a feedback form to log these grievances, but the front desk team didn't even provide one.
Management seriously needs to train their front desk staff on basic communication, efficiency, and guest care. Definitely not living up to 5-star standards.
