Die Olyfhuis

After 11 hours on the road, Die Olyfhuis was an oasis. In the middle of seemingly nowhere in the Northern Cape, this guest house was a sweet surprise with everything one needs on a breakaway. Airconditioned, clean, kitchenette, wifi, TV wide open farm land. The Koeistal Kefi Restaurant is less than a minute's walk from the rooms. Good food and super friendly and accommodating staff. The farm is also great for events where everyone can sleep over. I can't wait to go back there.

I had an amazing stay on this busy farm with very friendly people. The restored old farm buildings makes for an authentic experience. The Kefi is a good place to eat and makes good coffee. I am definitely planning to go back.

An unexpected oasis in the area, this amazing venue with beautiful, airconditioned rooms and awesome staff who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant, makes this gem well worth a stop on a journey through the Northern Cape.

The Olyfhuis is a gem where you can escape from the city. From a short personal break to a small family gettogether for a wedding, you will be surprised by the friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there.

Wow this guest house is really the best kept secret in the Northern Cape. The rooms are next level - Beautiful interior, farm eclectic mixed with some South African flair. Cleaned daily with a kitchenette and modern bathroom. The staff are professional, friendly and very helpful. The food!!! All I can say is njum! There is a Chef on site and a restaurant that serves a hearty breakfast and a mean pizza (Biltong, fig and feta… what a combo!) The general area is well looked after, and felt safe and there was space to go for an afternoon stroll or a swim. I would highly recommend Olyfhuis for leisure of business travel.
